"I never promised you a rose garden..."

St Mary’s Calne School in Wiltshire, which is ranked among the best independent schools in the country, received an outpouring of angry messages from former pupils after posting a seemingly innocuous picture of its new flower garden online.
And what's wrong with that? It's a perfectly lovely flower garden, after all...

Reader, I'm glad you asked:
Cat Roberts, 22, who is mixed-race, questioned the boarding school’s decision to share the image when it had failed to comment on the global discussion on racism sparked by the death of George Floyd.
Yes. Seriously.
She said: ‘With all that is happening in the world at the moment, I don’t think it is appropriate that you are posting your new flower garden yet are not acknowledging black lives and your black students.
‘It is truly ignorant that as a school you will not publicly stand for your black students. Racism is alive and is something myself and my friends experienced whilst studying at St Mary’s Calne.’
And did she stand up and challenge it at the time? It doesn't appear so. Instead she waited until she had a chance to castigate her school for not Tweeting about what she though they should tweet about.

Now who's the ignorant one? What sort of success has she made of her life, by the way?
...Ms Roberts, who works as a model after studying public relations at university...
Clearly, an expensive education was wasted on you, love.

Say, I wonder if any one has actually how many of these 'former pupils' could name the guy who took them for Maths, say what time lunch was or locate the gym on a map of the school?

At least we can rest assured that Dear Ol' Cat is a genuinely concerned ex-pupil with absolutely no designs whatsoever on a media career.... right?

Apparently, racism is super serious in Britain which is why people who look whiter than Frosty's cricket flannels keep reminding us that they're mixed race.

It's all over the place I'm afraid. Saw one where a BAME person was complaining to white girl "you should show some respect, proclaiming to support BLM while trivializing it with a selfie (of yo sorry white ass) made up the last bit.

OK got it now if it's not black or about black or about racism against black we are not allowed to talk about it. I stand enlightened at last, funny how none of the black people I meet in real life ever told me that.

What a waste of 4king oxygen she is: I'll bet said school was glad to see the back of her. I stand by my mantra - to cry racist you have to be racist.

When Antifa etc care about these black attacks, I'll take notice of silly privileged but poorly-educated UK youngsters:

Blacks in America kill more blacks than do white people.
Blacks in America kill more whites " " " "
Blacks in Africa kill more blacks every month than are killed in the whole of the West in one year.
Blacks kill Asians etc., etc., etc.

Get a grip children, look at the real problems

Plymouth Live online this morning.
As you know we have posted many articles featuring BLM, racism in all its forms must be fought (or similar). The vast majority of readers will support us but unfortunately we have had to ban dozens of people from our comments section for posting hundreds of disgusting racist comments.
We Believe In Free Speech but we are only a small team who are unable to police the thousands of comments we receive daily so have had to close the comments down.

A link promised "group of racists abusing minorities", film was one pisshead gobbing off before being dragged away by his mates.

That will be the fault of colonialism I expect.

Tried to explain to a BLM supporter (university graduate) that Black lives do matter, but no more than Asian lives, Oriental lives, Eskimo lives, Native American lives, and White lives. To suggest otherwise is racist.
Apparently, that comment shows just how racist and full of white privilege I am, even though they know I am of mixed race.
Just shows that education does not necessarily lead to intelligence.

Why aren't we told how many white people die in police custody every year? I am starting to really resent being classed as a racist simply because of my colour, and yes many white people are victims of racism. I have been refused service in cafes in Leicester and told to go elsewhere just because I was white but don't bother reporting it because only white people can be racists.

Anon at 13.56,
If or when challenged, tell them you self identify as an Afro-Carribean disabled transgender lesbian. They will be so busy working out which WOKE regulations they could be in breach of, especially if you ask for their name, they will let you do basically what you want.
Enjoy the confusion.
Happy birthday Phil. Give Cabbage a big hug from Me.

perhaps we should huddle in a corner mumbling homage to the oppressed until they kill us for not being them.

If only we had people who could investigate and report these things...?

"Wonder why she give up Public Relations?"

Maybe it gave her up?

"Get a grip children, look at the real problems"

That's hard. Pointless slogans are easier.

"Apparently, that comment shows just how racist and full of white privilege I am, even though they know I am of mixed race."

How dare you have an unapproved opinion!

"Why aren't we told how many white people die in police custody every year?"

Because it's usually more, would be my guess.

And no-one should die in custody, but if you're mentally ill, violent or take illegal drugs, you're at higher risk. That's just a fact.
