Don’t Worry, Love, You’re Still A Victim!

Police investigating an alleged sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl in Southwell have concluded no offence took place.
So, further action to take against the time-waster?

Why, no, of course not, the poor little lamb!
Detective Inspector Dave Walton, who led the inquiry, said: "Having conducted inquiries and, critically, spoken at length to the girl herself, I am now satisfied that no such offence took place.
"What the girl needs is support, which we and other agencies will continue to provide."
*sigh*
"I appreciate news of this alleged offence will have caused concern and I hope the outcome of our investigation will help to reassure parents and children alike."
Yes, I’m sure it’ll reassure all the other attention-seeking little nuisances…
DI Walton said it was of the "utmost importance" that victims of sexual assault had the confidence to report cases to the police in the knowledge they would be thoroughly investigated.
And that there’d hardly ever be any consequences for wasting police time…

When did it become a police function to provide support to fantasists?

@Angry Exile.....since political correctness and a surrender of the police to radical feminist policies.

Women are 'victims' even when they are not.

Keep the article to hand if you ever fancy dialling 999 to report something nonsensical. You will be reported or given a ticket.

If any man had been arrested over this, you may not be surprised to find out he would not be regarded as a 'victim'. Despite being totally innocent he would remain on police databases as a 'suspect'.

I always note in these matters that they trot out the fact they don't want genuine victims to not come forward....fair enough...but what about some concern for the fact innocent men being viewed with suspicion. Guess that's not important.

Some animals are more equal than others.

The sooner that men, falsely (and in some cases, vindictively) accused in cases of "fantasy" rape start vigorously persuing their legal redress the better ..
