Revolving Door Police Work…

Shoebury teenager Hollie Jarrett has been reported missing again less than a day after being found safe and sound.
/facepalm
Anyone who has seen Hollie should contact police on 101.
Why?

So they can waste even more time searching for her, only for her to run away yet again?

I wouldn't waste the 15p. She's either doing it for attention in which case her parents need the authority to lock her in the house (which they haven't currently got) or there are problems at home which need a closer look.

Either way the police have no place in this unless she or her parents have committed a crime.

This is what social workers are...or should...be for. The police job is...or should be...to uphold the law.

How complicated does it need to be, really ?

The police have no choice BUT to investigate and waste hours and hours and hours actively looking, making calss and filling out forms and inputting actions on specialist programme because IF THEY DON'T and the little DNA waster is found face down in a pond with their arse ripped to pieces - this time - HEADS WILL ROLL. Common sense is not a part of police work anymore.

For 101 read LOL.

It helps us remember what a joke all this is.

I saw a few of the posters they put up in the town centre, and let's just say that 'jailbreak' wasn't the first word that came to mind.

Close, though...

"Common sense is not a part of police work anymore."
