Sometimes, There Really Are No Words..

"Even though the keepers now wear helmets, strap the ladders to the poles firmly and have permanent foot fixing points for the ladders, Barrow Borough Council wishes to stop us from feeding in this way as they claim it to be too dangerous for the staff," said the zoo statement.
Hmmm, maybe in the interests of providing 'stimulation' for the big cats, we could replace the food poles with a few live council officials?

Sorry, not allowed. 'Tis cruelty to animals (the ones in the zoo, that is) to feed them diseased meat.

I recall being sickened by the 'spectacle' of animal confinement, at a very early age.

To compromise the strict meat diet of these poor creatures with offerings of a few live officials, only compounds the cruelty, Julia.

That's assuming you can find some live ones amongst the undead who roam Town Hall corridors throughout the UK.

Or even better take the big cats to the town hall and let them forage there - they get the exercise and the town gets a lower pole tax bill.
