Ah, It's Only Money...

The European Laboratory for Hip Hop Dance will net £900,000 to "improve the recognition and visibility of hip hop dance in Europe" and "encourage connectivity between hip hop artists".

Hailed as the flagship event of the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue, it is designed to raise awareness of "an often under-represented side of European culture.".
European culture..?

Yeah, I couldn't quite figure that out either...

Still, I'm all for 'encouraging connectivity' between hip hop artists. Especially since it seems that what hip hop artists most like to do when they get together is kill each other.

I preferred it when artists were hung in the National Gallery.

Oh well, hang the expense, give the cat another canary.

I agree with improving the connectivity between hip-hop "artists". The chaingang is about right.

I'd pay to see that!

If it was 50 Euros, it'd be too much!

It does seem to be where so many are destined to end up. At least, in the US. here, we just have the feared and dreaded 'community punishment' instead...
