Police Intelligence - An Oxymoron?

Certainly seems to be the case here:
A young woman has slammed the police force who kicked her door in looking for a drug dealer who didn't live there and then apologised to her by giving her flowers addressed to the wrong person.
Whoops!
"I phoned up and they apologised again, they told me that the police officer who entered my details was called Laura and that's where the confusion came from."
Ahhh, Yorkshire...

Remember that under the Proceeds of Crime legislation, this individual is guilty of a crime and can have all her assets seized by the police.

OK, she can then attempt to prove her worldly possessions were legally come by, but of course without any legal advice and with the burden of proof on her.

I wouldn't be too surprised if that hasn't already happened somewhere, to someone...
