”What a kerfuffle!”

Shocked onlookers may have thought they were watching a scene from BBC comedy Little Britain when a man leapt out of his wheelchair and punched another man repeatedly.
Ah, how times – and tv shows – change. Twenty years ago, it’s be ‘Candid Camera’ used as a reference…
People from the nearby Hobgoblin pub, in York Place, rushed over and tended to the victim’s bloody face whilst the suspect left the area.

Police officers rushed to the scene and arrested the assailant before he could speed away to safety.
Probably didn’t need their high-speed pursuit training?

I do hope someone makes use of the new Sun ‘Hotline’

Don't bet on it.

I've seen guys in "racing" wheelchairs who could put yer average lycra clad, eco-warrior cyclist hooligan to shame for speed and aggression.

the wheelchair-bound man suddenly got up and attacked the other.

It's a miracle, I tells ya!

Or it might be evidence of Auld Nick.

He's gone rather quiet since he lost his case against the Met, hasn't he?

He still has his blog, of course, where he pushes for equality.

No, wait. He doesn't. He pushes for disabled people to not suffer the same consequences as other criminals.

SNORK!
