Ed Miliband! Disappointed in you!
You listen to me. Yes there are lazy people that are claiming benefits, but sanctions are not the answer. There are also people in dire need.
If the person is able to do the job given that fits in with the time, flexibility and able health they have, then there is no excuse for them not to accept the job.
If you give a job that is inadequate and can be proven so, then you deal with the individual as not accepting work in the proper manner.
SANCTIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE EVER! PEOPLE WORKING FOR NOTHING OR JUST FOR BENEFITS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE!
Ed Miliband, explain yourself immediately before I change tack.
Sanctions can be acceptable even for people working for little money, those people on benefits are always unacceptable to those people working with sanctions, prove it in the proper manner of course.
You are out of touch and cannot understand the plight of people!
First, learn this. When people recognise they are better off on benefits, how the hell do you expect them to get jobs and have the incentive and drive to work? You think being heavy handed and threatening rather than encouraging and helpful is the way forward?

'Give' a job? Hmmmm. Maybe that's the problem, Feral?
"When people recognise they are better off on benefits, how the hell do you expect them to get jobs and have the incentive and drive to work?"
The answer seems obvious to me.
