A [redacted] [redacted] Police officer has been accused of running a mobile spray tanning firm while claiming mental health issues stopped [redacted] from coming to work. What’s missing? Glad you asked, Reader. Nothing that will surprise anyone:
A female Metropolitan Police officer has been accused of running a mobile spray tanning firm while claiming mental health issues stopped her from coming to work.
The Met have said if the allegations are proven, it would amount to gross misconduct and she could be dismissed from her post.
But only 'could'. Perhaps if PC Jennifer Stowers is lucky enough to belong to an identity group, she'll escape dismissal.

Do ethnic minorities all need spray tans? I thought that they were naturally that colour.
There is, or was during my service, a requirement for Police officers wanting to be involved in a private company, to seek permission from the Chief Constable/Commissioner. Failure to do so automatically resulted in disciplinary action. For someone to take up an employment, while claiming to be unfit for Police duties, really is extracting the urine, showing nothing but contempt for her profession and her colleagues. Her defence will make interesting reading.
