A Tale Of Two Towns...

Hove:
A petition has been handed to Brighton and Hove City Council urging action at the crossroads between Old Shoreham Road, The Upper Drive and The Drive, in Hove.
The council is advising them that it will 'consider the situation'...

Billericay:
A zebra crossing will be installed in Billericay, against the wishes of residents and town councillors...Nicola Spicer, spokeswoman for the county council, said residents were consulted.
Just not listened to...

The deafening of authority to the cries of it's people is an indication of how far down the road to dictatorship we are.

I'm confused. I know Hove well and pedantically speaking there is no crossroads between Old Shoreham Road, The Drive and The Upper Drive. This map of the area shows the road layout. Any guesses where they actually mean?

Julia, again what is the fascination with Brighton and Hove actually?

Loved your tweet to that slag wife of 'the speaker' noted on the Beeb

She, Sally Bercow, is exactly the type of person that without the interweb would walk around with her and her friends most intimate details printed on a billboard slung around her tits and ass.

in short, rock on, and listen to this......

They've forgotten why they are there in the first place...

None at all! I got the impression from the report and the comments that a crossroads was what they wanted - perhaps the 'crossing' referred to is really jaywalking?

"...what is the fascination with Brighton and Hove actually?"

Oh, its local paper seems to trawl up some good stories!

"what happened to our music and film appreciation club anywho?"

Film/soundtrack retrospective will be every second Wednesday of the month this year.
