A youth-focused trio will lobby the government with knife crime solutions written on chicken boxes that had been distributed by the Home Office.
...Hayel Wartemberg, Ndubuisi Uchea and Shiva Tarbhaker took to the streets of London and gathered responses from members of the public, including practical solutions to knife crime.
Oooh, this'll be good! *gets popcorn*
Uchea said: “It was really beautiful to see people coming up with ideas and then other people coming over and reading those ideas.”
And then laughing their socks off...
Uchea said: “A lot of the time, the policymakers are so far removed from those people living the reality.”
Let's see some of your 'reality' then?
“An interest-free business loan would help turn someone who is running a business as a drug dealer, which does take some business sense, into something with a better purpose.”
Amazing! It boils down to 'Bribe us with taxpayer money not to be criminals'..! Who'd ever have guessed?

Presumably if you are a drug dealer you have access to quite a lot of cash, and indeed profits, so recycling them into something legal, while a bit dodgy would be entirely possible. I therefore suspect that the desire among drug dealers to go straight is not being constrained by lack of cash..................
Beautiful British names...just like the suspects and victims in 99% of the knife crimes in London.
Jaded
The trio, and the supporting MP, all look like people I would cross the street to avoid, especially after dark. It's a bit like being searched at an airport by people who look to me like terrorists, or on occasion, members of a paedophile grooming gang from Rochdale (them Northerners again).
Presumably they get immunity from prosecution as a drug dealer? If so, say you are a drug dealer, get an interest-free business loan.

Quite!

Good point!

But stereotyping is bad, or so the progressives tell us!
