'How Very DARE You, It's For Charity, Don'tchaknow?'

Two charity hikers who skipped queues to reach the summit of Yr Wyddfa have spoken of their anger at being booed.

Not their shame, no, of course not! Their unjustified anger.

Jamie Richardson, 32, and Richard Thiedeman, 34, avoided "Alton Towers-like" queues as they hiked different routes up the mountain on Sunday and were met with jeers from those waiting as they tapped the trig point to complete a charity challenge.

And they claimed they had no clue why they might have got that reaction,  of course. And I believe them, they seem to suggest that because they were doing it for charity they were entitled to skip the queue!

Richardson said: "There's no policing of it at all, it is purely free will, if you want to queue you can."

Yes, and people did, because it's the polite thing to do. But not you, because you’re special…..

Thiedeman said: "Knowing what I've just been through with the other two mountains, I was really exhausted.
"I just needed to get it over with, I'm in the sun, I'm getting sunburned. I just need to tap [the trig point] and leave."

Like, I suspect, the majority of the people queuing, who still have manners and a sense of social responsibility and not simply a charidee T-shirt and an overweening sense of your own self importance.

Richardson experienced another hiker trying to physically stop him from reaching the trig point. "I'm up to the third mountain, I'm physically exhausted, it was 20 odd degrees. No shade or anything," he said. "I was physically struggling. I wanted to just go up and touch the summit and get myself down. "I was getting booed and then there was a gentleman who was at the top, who had just had his photo taken and he physically tried to stop me." He added he had just touched the summit point and heard someone say "you should be ashamed of yourself".

A waste of breath, these kids are incapable of it…

Thiedeman continued: "If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.
"Instead they were trying to belittle the attempts of people they don't even know.

They know all they need to know about you-that you don’t feel society’s unwritten rules for cohesion apply to you.

"When I'm wearing a T-shirt that you can see what this person's hiking for... surely anybody at the summit of a mountain deserves a cheer and a well done?
"I was coming up feeling proud and then I'm being booed, so now I'm really angry and I'm not focused on being proud.

Awww, poor baby!

"Whatever anybody's belief or approach is, you don't boo somebody else because they don't have the same approach."
"The queuing, that is just purely down to British culture traditions. "A bit more encouragement in the world would go a little bit further, rather than trying to put people down."

You see, you won’t be able to understand this, but we really value those cultural traditions, and we want to keep them. It’s bad enough we are importing people who don’t and never will, share them, but to see you come along and scorn them, well, you’re lucky all you got was booed!

Refreshing!

Donald Trump's border czar has responded to Selena Gomez's sobbing video over deportations, saying the administration has 'no apologies' and that anyone who doesn't like it should take it up with Congress.

This is how all such appeals to emotion should be treated, when they aren't simply ignored.

The sweeping raids across the country have seen violent criminals rounded up and sent packing on government flights at break-neck speed. Liberals and celebrities are in shock, despite Trump promising for months that they would happen on his first day back in office.

Well, they are used to promises being made, but not kept by their Democrat buddies, after all...

Gomez has since deleted the video after it did not sit well with social media users, who were quick to slam her for not using her reported net worth of $1.3 billion to take action herself.

By doing what, exactly?

Megyn Kelly also slammed the Emilia Perez actress for putting on a display of crocodile tears, claiming she wanted to push an agenda that her fans disagreed with. 'She deleted it after her fans taught her that the majority of the country stands behind these policies, but I'm sure she was shocked to get any blowback whatsoever,' Kelly said. 'She’s unwell. Obviously, this is an unwell person… And by the way, anybody who takes their phone works up in tears and posts a video of themselves crying into their phone is sick. That's a sick person.
'Tears happen. They tend to happen privately. If they happen publicly. I think you should quickly move on and recover, but I don't understand the person who works it and tries to squeeze out more tears to make themselves look extra sad.'

I can tell you, Megyn. They are attention seekers. But the attention Selena got was the wrong kind.

"Yes, It Worked! I Got The Attention I Was Craving!"

Nick Dumont is ready to speak about their coming-out journey after announcing that they are trans masculine nonbinary earlier this month.

? Me neither, Reader, me neither...

The Oppenheimer actor, who clarified that they now use they/them pronouns, spoke about how 'rewarding' coming out was in a statement to Out. Dumont, who has had small roles in the Paul Thomas Anderson films Inherent Vice and Licorice Pizza, also shared that they would continue using their birth name, Emma Dumont, for work projects, but they plan to go by Nick Dumont in their personal life.

How handy...

'Coming out to myself as trans has been one of the longest challenges I've faced in life. It has also been the most rewarding by a mile,' they said.

You've clearly had quite the cossetted and easy life, then...

'Now I'm out, have a life I could have only dreamed of as a kid, and I still get to play women at work.' Dumont proudly declared: 'I'm trans. I love being trans. We're here. We've always been here.'

But you've never been feted and tolerated like you are now, so it's really not so brave of you after all...

They added that they were 'grateful' to live in the present and to have access to 'safe spaces and support' and to be able to 'go to the LA LGBT Center and get medical care without fear.'

By 'medical care', I think she means the opposite. And one day when we come to our senses, we'll look back on what doctors did to people like you the way we look back on Dr Mengele's 'work'....

'I didn't think I'd be out to everyone so soon but I made a promise to myself that if someone asked, I would share,' they said. 'Someone did ask and I shared…because I'm proud.'

If it's truly natural and your 'real self', what do you have to be 'proud' of, exactly?

'Gosh, How Unexpected' Said Nobody, Ever...

Actress and TV presenter Danielle Mason...
Sorry, Reader, no idea...
...claims her 12-year-old son, who has autism, hasn't been to school for over a year due to a lack of funding for his special educational needs - and says 'he'll never go back because his confidence has been knocked so much'. Mason, 41, who lives in Bracknell, says her son Rudy, who should be in Year Eight, has been declined a place at numerous schools in Berkshire after he was excluded 21 times from his last school, The Brakenhale School.

Twenty-one times...!

Speaking to MailOnline, the mother-of-two claims that the schools 'cannot cope' with her son's EHCP [Education, Health and Care Plan] due to a 'lack of government funding' - and that he's received homework for the first time in a year this week. She says her daughter Delilah, who also has an EHCP due to mental health problems, is currently in Year Six at primary school, and has also failed to get a place at several senior schools.

Two children with mental health issues? Gosh, what are the odds?

The mother claimed her son would be excluded for 'silly reasons' such as coming in wearing his trainers instead of his school shoes, while other days he was 'triggered' when the school couldn’t handle his needs properly.

But sweetie, those aren't 'silly reasons', are they?

Danielle revealed it has become like a full-time job trying to find a place for her children's educational needs.

It's probably the only full-time job she's ever had. And she's failing at it miserably.

You Could Have Just Asked Me, Love...

...I'd have translated it into 'attention-seeker' for you.

‘When did you decide this? Is this even a label – I’ve never heard of it. I support you, obviously, but this doesn’t sound real.’ Just some of the words that greeted me when I came out as abrosexual to a close friend, back in 2020. Needless to say, we’re not friends anymore.
That must come as a welcome relief...to the close friend, that is.

Your Choice, Lemmy, Stand Up For It...

A bar has been branded 'Britain's wokest pub' for refusing to sell a number of popular drinks for ethical reasons.
The Red Lion in Bristol revealed it will not serve Coca-Cola, Heineken, Polish lager Tyskie, Thatchers or Bacardi because of concerns over the brands' histories.

What's wrong with them?

Pub bosses there say the makers of Thatchers have links to Edward Colston and slavery; Coca-Cola has a history of the misuse of water in developing countries; and Heineken has been accused of unethical practices in Africa.

And the rest?

The Red Lion also won't stock Polish larger Tyskie after the company that owns it was linked to an anti-LGBTQ+ movement; and Bacardi has been linked with historical attacks in Cuba.

What do they serve, tap water?

... landlord Lemmy is upset about the response to their decision, which was 'made purely on their ethics.'

Wait, what?

'We have been labelled ''woke'' and all these weaponised words - which have made us feel pretty vulnerable.
'When we have taken the stance which we believe is ethical - we do not want to be made some kind of target. '

Awwww, diddums! This is how it works, wokie - you have your say, and then everyone has theirs. Don't like it? Shame!

Lazy Policing..? Or Something Else?

A woman who believes she was spiked with a needle has been left ‘disappointed’ by the police’s investigation after she was told CCTV was “too long to look through”.

Lazy cops? Maybe.

Maybe not...

The 19-year old had been out celebrating Halloween with friends and she visited: The Brewery Tap, on Ock Street; The Grapes, on High Street; The Kings Head and Bell, on St Helen Street and Crown and Thistle, on Bridge Street.
Miss Hargreaves realised she may have been spiked when she started to feel unwell...

Uh-huh...

She described being ‘dazed out’ and she was unable to walk the 20 minute journey back to where they live together as she was ‘really wobbly’, so she had to be ‘pushed home in a trolley’.

Isn't that pretty normal for a teenager's pub crawl?

Miss Hargreaves added she provided the police with a urine sample but it did not get tested as it was too long after the incident.

I rather think you were taking, not giving, love!

Given It's Croydon, I'm Only Surprised It Wasn't From A Gun...

Janet, 26, who lives in Crystal Palace, was about to tuck into them with her daughter over the weekend when four-year-old exclaimed that she'd found something on one of them.
"We washed them twice including with some bicarbonate of soda (Ed: I prefer cream and sugar on mine!), and then we left to dry out. Then my daughter picked out one she wanted and said: 'Mum there's a bug on it, there's a bug on it!'

Your child is going to fail at school if she confuses molluscs with insects...

Janet called the company's customer service and was offered a five pound gift card in response, something she didn't consider wholly adequate.

What a shock!

Attention-Seekers Get Attention, But Don't Like It...

Police are investigating an alleged hate crime after a 14-year-old pupil said they were branded a 'tranny' and attacked with hand sanitiser in the classroom.
Emily Wilkinson-Quinn, 14, is 'completely traumatised' and has taken time away from school after they were targeted over their sexuality, family claim.
Worried mum Natasha-Jayne Wilkinson, 34, said Emily was followed into their classroom by a male classmate and attacked.
What is it with this family and their hyphens?
Natasha-Jayne said Emily, who has shaven hair, has been bullied after coming out as gay to classmates last year.

She's 14. And 'coming out' isn't enough, I suppose? She has to declare herself by appearance too.

Natasha-Jayne claimed it took the school more than a week to identify the pupil responsible - and he was only suspended from school for five days.

What should they have done, flogged him until he passed out during morning assembly?

A spokesperson for the school's headteacher said: 'The school is unable lawfully, and does not propose, to comment on an entirely confidential matter which involves the welfare of children.'

While no doubt muttering, under theie breath:"...but we can't stop the mother from spouting off to every eager journalist who'll listen in her quest for publicity and her daughter's martyrdom on the cross of genderwar."

And After That, They'll Invent A Perpetual Motion Machine And Institute World Peace...

Alice King, who was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, said she was shocked to see the monogram bodysuit on sale in the Urban Outfitters store in Churchill Square, Brighton.
The 22-year-old shared a photo of the outfit that she says looked more like “children’s clothing.”

Why? I mean, who else cares?

Alice said: “It was labelled as a medium and straight away it put my back up. I thought ‘how can that possibly be a medium?’ It was so tiny.
“With my history of eating disorders, things like this just trigger me. I posted pictures on my Instagram story because I thought I cannot be the only one who thinks like this.”

Ah. I see now. You wanted reassurance that you weren't a crazy person looking for confirmation of your neuroses. And you're clearly going to find that on....Instagram?

Oh dear.

“I got so many replies from, mostly females, but some males too and they were just in shock, the same as me, that they could sell something like this.
“Urban Outfitters, along with other clothing brands, need to consider their younger audiences and the age at which people are more likely to struggle with these kinds of issues.”

I think UO probably believe all they need to do is sell clothes to people who want to buy them. I doubt they've considered attracting the tiny niche market of hysterical whackjobs who share outrage imagery on social media.

She is now calling for standard clothing sizes to be introduced across the fashion industry to prevent the promotion of “unrealistic expectations for women’s bodies.”

Well, good luck with that, because every store and in-supermarket brand is different, and a size 14 in one is likely to be a size 12 in another!

Urban Outfitters have been contacted for a statement.

The managing director is probably on his tenth brandy by now...

No, Pretty Sure They Don't...

I think being a shameless publicity whore who cannot live without seeing your name in the papers probably is a mental disorder though...

An asexual person is someone who "does not experience sexual attraction,” the Asexual Visibility and Education Network outlines, emphasising the difference between asexuality and celibacy, which is a “choice to abstain from sexual activity”.

She might not experience sexual attraction, but a camera lens is clearly a lamp to her moth...

Does she have sexual desire, though?
‘Yes, but not towards other people. Let’s just say asexual people still have libidos and functioning bodies… would orgasming feel better if someone else was involved? No.

So she's just a useless w...

No, no, this is a family blog!

The Female Equivalent Of 'A Karen'...

...shall henceforth be 'a William':
The victim was sent to hospital where he was treated for a severe laceration and given stitches for a head wound following the scuffle.
Along with a friend, William had been arguing with South Western Railway staff by the ticket barrier because one member was not wearing a mask.

Err, maybe you should have merely concerned yourself with those who were wearing them incorrectly?

William said: 'My friend asked one of the station staff a totally reasonable and polite question: ''are you exempt from wearing a mask''.
'She'd snapped back saying ''none of your business''.

Because it isn't. She may be exempt.

The 'Mail' has tracked down the passenger and interviewed him. He says, without any apparent trace of irony:

'This man had nothing to do with it. He decided to interfere in something that was none of his business.'

*blinks*

He said: 'I had a mask on and so did most of the other passengers, so I wanted to know why the same rules did not apply to station workers?'

It never occurred to you to wonder why it was 'most' of the other passengers then?

As he was speaking outside the station, Mr Adam was approached by security staff who asked him to move on. He told them: 'You people are a disgrace and as far as I'm concerned, if you're not wearing a mask, you're spreading a plague.'

At least it's not a plague of self-righteous morons, eh, William?

South Western Railway said the member of staff who was not wearing a mask had a medical exemption.

No doubt muttering under their breath: "...now sod off!"

Yes, Mary, There Are Issues. And They Are Yours.

It should have been a genteel afternoon singalong, with an audience of pensioners enjoying some fun, nostalgic tunes. But the well-meaning charity show erupted into a race row when one outraged audience member took umbrage at the inclusion of...
The Horst Wessel Song? The Sex Pistol's 'Frigging In The Rigging'? 'Smack My Bitch Up' by The Prodigy?
...the classic music-hall number Camptown Races.

*blinks*

Pianist Sarah Fisher – who was live-streaming her performance via Facebook to help isolated people deal with lockdown – was criticised for her ‘inappropriate’ choice of a song that dates from the era of ‘blackface’ minstrel shows and is famous of its ‘doo-dah doo-dah’ refrain.

Is 'doo-dah doo-dah' another thing you're not supposed to say unless you're black, then?

While most of those watching were eager to type messages of thanks during the show, one of them – former BBC journalist Mary Stretch – was less pleased.

How did I know it'd be a BBC drone?

Actually, we probably could have suspected given the high-handed manner in which she expressed her displeasure...

Soon a war of words was raging between Mrs Stretch, 66, and others who had tuned in. ‘Get a life,’ one audience member shot back. ‘A song is a song, nothing more. If you don’t like it switch off.’
But Mrs Stretch was adamant. ‘No, it isn’t just a song,’ she countered. ‘I know you think they are fun but there are issues.’

Only for you, love.

‘I don’t blame Sarah at all for spontaneously picking it up and singing it in all innocence. But I hope from now on, because of what I have said, she and you won’t in the future. You might like to also consider why you should be comfortable, and demand the right to be so, when I am patently not.’

Because it's not all about you. And if you were the only one who had a problem, maybe you're the one in the wrong?

Although most of the audience had apparently enjoyed the performance, Toynbee Hall, the London-based charity which organised the show, backed the complaint.

Of course they did.

In a message, manager Sam Crosby said that ‘to completely deny both the experiences of people of colour and the historical context of cultural artefacts, such as songs, is racist.

Oh, FFS!

‘When these issues are raised in good faith, it’s a chance for us to learn how to be sensitive to people of colour as a group, recognise historical injustices and racist power structures, and not simply deny their feelings point-blank.’

Mary isn't 'a group', though, Sam. She's just one overly-sensitive snowflake.

‘Any further comments along these lines will result in people being blocked.’

Ah. And clearly, so are you.

Better Not Check The Lasagna...

...there might be a horse's head in there!
Polly Wheaton, 47, popped out to Lidl to buy the ingredients for a vegan bolognese for her twin daughters Isabelle and Megan, 20.
But as Isabelle got to the final few mouthfuls on her plate, she was horrified to find what looked like the scaly head of the reptile in her food.
The family think it came from a jar of sauce or tin of tomatoes from the supermarket.
They think..? But they aren't sure?
"I feel at the very least that this product should have been recalled. The fact that we found an exotic animal in our food in the middle of a global pandemic is shocking."
But I haven't had so much as a courtesy call from Lidl to apologise.
"I've had to constantly chase them over the last six weeks, and all they've told me is that their complaints team is still looking into it.
"I think this should take precedence over someone who has complained about a bad can of baked beans or something."
Hmmmm....
Polly said the suspected lizard's head was about the size of her thumbnail - which is why she had not seen it when she was pouring the ingredients into her sauce.
And as a 'nail technician' I guess she's qualified to judge! So....Lidl haven't done anything about this?
A spokesperson for the German supermarket said: "We were very sorry to hear of this matter and would like to sincerely apologise for any distress that this may have caused.
"We are keeping the customer updated on the progress of this investigation, and upon its conclusion will share any results directly."
Ah. But clearly she wants her 15 minutes of fame regardless.

"Look At Us! Us! LOOK!"

No, no, not Harry and Meghan, or the latest vacuous sleb on the new season of "Let's Go To A Deserted Island And Eat Kangaroo Testicles".

This is Hove. They do things differently here:
A family has been hiding painted stones for NHS staff to find in a show of appreciation for healthcare workers.
Flowers and chocolates are so passé, dahlings!
Hove resident Fran Aiello, her children Bluebell, seven, and Dexter, one, and boyfriend Scott Lipscombe have been busy painting since the coronavirus lockdown began in March.
*rolls eyes*
“My hope is NHS staff will keep their rocks so they know how much we appreciate the work they do.”
Frankly, if someone puts one of them through your window, you've only yourselves to blame...

Well, At Least You Aren't Speaking With Your Mouth Full, Love...

I think the most depressing thing about the continuing uproar over the death of a petty criminal thousanfds of miles away has been the attention seeking from the celebutard community:

Even the cooks are getting in on it:

And then we have, err...
Elle Knox, 28, was flying on a United Airlines flight from Houston to San Francisco, where she is due to catch a flight home to Sydney on Wednesday.
But after seeing the George Floyd protests, she decided to make a stand - addressing all 300 people on her flight about 'police brutality'.
And who is this 'celebrity'? Why, she's an Australian porn star...

Monday, 8 June 2020

"Dry your eyes mate, I know it's hard to take..."

"It's incredibly hurtful," said Broadway star Jelani Alladin.

What is..?

Would you believe, 'getting on with your life without giving these morons the attention and approbation they crave'..?

Yes. Really.

Awwww, his widdle face...!

And nor is he the only one.
"And you're telling me that you have no hesitation posting a selfie of yourself... or what you're eating for dinner, and yet you're telling me that you're afraid to say something because you might hurt other people's feelings? Or you don't know what to say? Or you don't have an audience to reach? Were you thinking those things when you posted the other photos? I don't think you were."
Yes, how dare you think you have a life that doesn't revolve around some vacuous mouthbreather hyperventilating 24/7 about the latest cause?
...as fitness influencer Trammell Logan tells CBS News, it can even be hurtful when white people post messages about #blacklivesmatter side-by-side with more frivolous content. "In your natural state of being distraught or sadness, if something extremely personal happens to you, I can't see how you can be in that state and post about it or be about it and then five minutes later like post a cocktail mix, or like you dancing. Our emotions don't necessarily work like that," Logan said.
I don't know what a 'fitness influencer' is, and reading that, I really don't want to know, because they clearly have a ticket on the 'B' Ark...
Catherine Moran Ayeni, an attorney in Texas, told CBS News that for her, worse than total silence is when people respond to a "black lives matter" post with the comment "all lives matter."
"It's a very painful kind of silence because it removes our voice," she said.
Who'd hire an attorney so stupid as to declare to a national broadcaster that she has 'no voice'?

Clearly, She Had No Problem Lying Down...

The 39-year-old said she also suffers from a condition called SPD, which prevents her from being able to stand for long periods of time and can cause extreme pain.
She said: "Supermarket staff are doing an amazing job but I just want a bit of courtesy for pregnant women.
"I'm a single mum with three kids and I don't have anyone who can go to the shop for me."
Can't you ask the father(s) of your children?
