We Had To Destroy The Enclosure In Order To Save It...

Technical director of the zoo, Mads Frost Bertelsen, said: 'We are constantly checking our facilities, both out of consideration for the animals and with a view to the guest experience.
'The wolf enclosure was 40 years old and long ago no longer met the requirements that are made today in animal welfare.
'Therefore the facility had to be closed so that we can create a new and more modern area. Since we couldn't put the zoo's three male wolfs (sic) anywhere else, we had to kill them. '
Of course, it's Copenhagen Zoo again.
The zoo has said brown bears will also disappear in order to create more space for the more popular polar bears.

That sounds unnecessarily sinister...

Not a lot to say...an ongoing horror show, Copenhagen Zoo will disgust any decent animal lover.

The meat will not go to waste.
This is the country that caught the food of endangered seabirds so that they could burn the renewable oil rich fish to generate Green Electricity.

Yes, sinister indeed. The obsession with rewilding vast swathes of Europe, from the Iberian peninsula to the Balkans and beyond is now in full swing. Where are all the wolves and bears going to come from? There is even a project to reverse breed the aurochs from modern cattle. It won't be long before we all herded into huge cities connected by rail. Travel between cities by permit only - be a good boy and you can go see granny next month. And that's Building Back Better?

Wolves are back in the mountains nearby (in northwest Spain). We also have a big problem with wild hogs, so it looks like we have a head start on the rest of you!

Spot on!

"This is the country that caught the food of endangered seabirds so that they could burn the renewable oil rich fish to generate Green Electricity."

*speechless*

Zoos clearing the way for new enclosures, perhaps? Pray they don't decide they need a new snake and spider house!

I predict you'll soon have only one of those problems!
