So to the first one - Russell Brand, former darling of the Left, now on trial for that most egregious crime - rape and sexual assault before he became a celebrity. A trial with no physical evidence, hinging on consent and blurred lines, with the victims clearly consenting to some acts, but claiming others outraged their decency.
And indeed, though you wouldn’t believe it from the triumphant nature of the feminist-led outcry, the jury did not deliver a clean sweep of guilty verdicts, only some of the charges were proven.
That Brand is a scoundrel of the sort who would once be warned about as ‘not safe in taxis’ by your mum ( a description that means little in these modern times of Ubers driven by foreign invaders) is a given, but let’s not pretend that the women involved did not know this. But according to perceived modern wisdom such thoughts are ‘victim blaming’, which brings us on to the other case.
The perpetrator of the murder of Henry Nowak appealed against his sentence, at the same time as the appeal against the leniency of that sentence, and good triumphed over evil, for once, at least as far as the murder. The police are yet to receive their reckoning for their actions, and I doubt they ever will, given the lack of interest of the MSM, when compared to the way they reacted to the Brand verdict.
But I ask you, Reader, which case shows how far we have fallen as a society of law and order?
