Policing in Britain has “adopted the language of activism” and official guidance has “over-corrected” to combat accusations of racism, one of the UK’s most senior officers has said. Sir Stephen Watson, the chief constable of Greater Manchester police, said he did not believe that “two-tier policing” existed or that forces were biased against white people.

As a famous movie lawyer once said,  it doesn’t matter what he believes what matters is what he can prove, and the evidence is all against him. 

Police had, however, allowed that perception to take hold in part as a result of anti-racism guidance that advised officers to treat suspects differently depending on their ethnicity.

“Particularly in the light of the tragic murder of Henry Nowak, I do understand that this idea that two-tier policing takes place is now widespread,” he said. “I don’t think it’s justified, but I can understand where it’s coming from.”

Well, let me help; it's coming from incidents like this one (now seemingly removed since I first saw it, but it’s an incident where a black guy attacked a white man and the police rolled up and arrested the victim, again. I’ll leave it in in case the poster appeals and it returns):

For me, one officer appears to escalate the situation by pushing and then drawing his baton. From there, everything spirals out of control.

We can all see how police in this country now police 'without fear or favour' and its not at all!

Watson, who is tipped as the potential successor to Sir Mark Rowley as the head of the Metropolitan police, said forces must be “a little less timid about making sure we emphasise our impartiality”.

Practicing some would be a good start! 

“I think we have some lessons to learn … Perhaps we have been uncritical in adopting certain elements of language. We’ve adopted the language of activism,” he said. “We’ve sometimes taken on board what are challenged concepts and we’ve written those into policy and intent – all with the best of reasons – but these issues then get held up almost as exhibit X, as the proof that we do not treat people equally.”

And this man is being tipped as a successor to the head of the Met, when Rowley's gaffes get too numerous to tolerate! 

Watson has been called Britain’s “anti-woke” police chief after he instructed officers not to take the knee during Black Lives Matters protests in 2021 because it would undermine impartiality. He said he would “probably kneel before the queen, God and Mrs Watson, that’s it”.

That won't last, not when he gets a sniff of the top job. 

We All Suspected They Did This ...

 .. and now we have proof: 

Police 'guided' the family of a hotel worker in 'toning down' their public statements after she was murdered by an asylum seeker – in case their words led to anti-immigration rioting. Rhiannon Whyte, 27, was stabbed 23 times with a screwdriver by Sudanese national Deng Majek while waiting at a train station.

Now Rhiannon's mother, Siobhan, has claimed police said they didn't want 'another Southport' when she told them her daughter's life support was to be turned off. She said: 'Did they tell us what to say? No. Did they guide us so it didn't look so aggressive? Maybe. I was aggressive – they toned it down.'

Confimation at last! 

Ms Whyte – who stresses that she is grateful for the help she received from the police in the aftermath of her daughter's death – added: 'I think they didn't want violence... they didn't want a riot.'

What help?  

When Rhiannon's family told police they were turning off her life support, officers quickly removed the migrants from the hotel. Ms Whyte added: 'Those migrants were out within two hours – I think that's because [the police] feared violence.'

See, they can do it when they want to, thus giving the lie to the claim that violence is not the way. 

It was only after Majek was sentenced that Ms Whyte mentioned the fact he had arrived in the UK on a small boat three months before the attack – and criticised Sir Keir Starmer. She said: 'The Prime Minister's got blood on his hands.'

He has, yes, but he's not alone in the government in that! 

Stress All You Like, No-One Has Any Confidence In You...

A 14-year-old schoolgirl arrested after a teacher was stabbed in the neck at a school in Manchester yesterday has been detained under the Mental Health Act. Police confirmed the girl had been arrested on suspicion of assault after officers were called to reports of a stabbing at the Co-op Academy in Blackley on Tuesday morning. The 'serious incident' saw the school go into lockdown after a teacher was stabbed in the neck as he heroically shielded pupils from a girl allegedly attacking students at the school with a knife.

And of course, of most concern to the filth is that people don't talk about it, especially as social media is reporting the girl in question is other than white native English:

Chief Inspector Shilvock added: 'As our investigation progresses, we are aware that names relating to the incident are being circulated on social media, which are unhelpful for the investigation.'This is also causing concern with the victims and those that have been impacted, therefore we would stress that people do not speculate regarding this incident. 'Officers will remain in and around the area to provide support to ensure staff, students and the wider community feel safe. 'If you have any concerns, please speak to our officers who are there to support you.'

Who still believes that the police are there to support us?  If you still do, I've got a bridge for sale... 

A mother, whose son was already on his way home when she received the news, said on social media: 'This is all so scary. Parents found nothing out from school, it was all from Facebook. My child should be enjoying the last few days in school and not worrying and being in lockdown.'

This is why people take to social media, Chief Inspector. And it's why our snivelling coward of a Prime Minister wants to ban it.

And Nothing To Do With Activists Like You, Eh?

 

No, the world isn’t going to hell in a handcart. But yes, a good many items are being stolen – in plain view, with apparent impunity – from the shelves at Tesco, M&S and all the major high-street stores.

As a former police officer, having been a chief superintendent during 30 years in the Met and having sat on the London policing board, I often reflect with former colleagues on why we are where we are in terms of policing and public confidence – and how we dealt with shoplifting during our time in the force.

So, you did once do an actual policing role before you became just another race grifter. 

When I was a probationer PC in Tottenham, north London, I regularly attended calls to shops to arrest shoplifters.It was valuable experience for new officers, good for the shops and good for society.

Why did it stop then?   

Where we stand today shows how deterioration and decline has set in, and were you to ask when and how it started and who is responsible, my reply would be unequivocal: j’accuse Theresa May, now Baroness May, the longest-serving home secretary of modern times.

He has a point with some of his reasons, below,  but it seems to me he’s glossing over others:

First, the reduction of police numbers in England and Wales by almost 22,000 officers and more than 20,000 police staff – which included police community support officers (PCSOs) – was plain wrong.

Yes, that undoubtedly didn't help, but having more police is useless if they aren't the right sort to be police in the first place, and there's plenty of evidence that the Met Police in particular are incapable of hiring the right sort.

May’s second offence was the hyper-politicisation of policing, with the introduction of police and crime commissioners (PCCs) in England and Wales in 2012.

Yes, well, the ACPO ranks seem to have accepted hyper-politicisation just fine, as long as they feel the politics run in their favour...

Third on the charge sheet: the introduction of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. This legislation decreed that in England and Wales the shoplifting of goods valued at £200 or less would become a “summary-only offence”.

OK, she's bang to rights here. 

Fourth, May failed to listen to the experts who said that reductions in policing would result in an increase in crime.

Experts? Name names, man!  

Finally, the shake-up of police leadership meant that, for a period, the most senior officers chosen by crime commissioners lacked experience of working in different forces.

It's not their experience or lack of it that concerns most people; it's their wholsale take-over by the enemy within, and  adoption of every left-wing cause going atound, likr BLM and #IBelieveHer (except when it suits them not to). In sort, because they've listened to people like you for far too long. 

This'll Shut You Peasants Up!

Detectives have said they are yet to find evidence that an alleged rape outside a church took place as reported or that any immigrants or asylum seekers were involved. Surrey Police previously received a report that a woman in her 20s had been followed and assaulted outside the church in Ashley Road, Epsom, after leaving Labyrinth Epsom nightclub on Saturday between 2am and 4am.

And the refusal to issue a description (after the Southport affair, supposedly a lesson learned) led to big trouble in little Epsom... 

In a statement released today, Assistant Chief Constable for Local Policing Sarah Grahame said: 'Over the past week, there has been widespread speculation and commentary following a report of a rape in Epsom in the early hours of Saturday. 

'We are aware of the strength of feeling this has created, and of the frustration caused by our limited public comment on the matter. 

'During this time, we have been investigating in depth to establish the sequence of events and to clarify the circumstances surrounding the reported incident. We have reviewed an extensive amount of CCTV footage from the area. 

'We have also been interviewing potential witnesses, carrying out forensics investigations and conducting house-to-house enquiries. 

'To date, we have not found any evidence of the offence as reported but the investigation is ongoing.'

Interesting phrasing, implying something went on - are the police so utterly captured now that they feel confident in publicly labelling a woman a liar, or a slut, rather than admit that there may be a problem with illrgal ethnics from Third World cultures?

Of course, they feel safe to do so because the woman has anonymity. If she chooses to forgo that, this story may not go away.

What They Don't Say Is Often More Telling Than What They Do...

Back on the sleepy Sunday after Christmas, criminal shenanigans were occurring in Thetford, when what appeared to be a simple motoring collision rapidly became something else:

My ears pricked up at the lack of the usual boilerplate for these incidents, something along the lines of 'Armed police challenged the man who failed to comply and was subsequently shot'. The lack makes me wonder if a warning wasn't issued, which is rare and only occurs when they have no time to do so (and even then, they often lie thst they did so even when it would be understandable that they didn't).

It got stranger - albeity a little more explanatory - when reporters found witnesses who claimed the man pointed his gun at a woman, but it appears now that this was before the ARV appeared on the scene. 

Then this line kept cropping up in online reports:

The man was approached by officers and, a short time later, shot by police from a short distance away.

Again, no mention of a challenge and surely suspects are always shot 'from a short distance away'? Isn't that the point of a gun, after all? Then there was a local news report stating that the next of kin had been contacted, yet still no name, no details other than age, in his sixties (!), with a report stating that the name will be released after a post mortem. The MSM is pretty quiet on this one too.

The authorities didn't waste time rolling out some typical boilerplate statements, however:

Terry Jermy, Labour MP for South West Norfolk, said: "Fortunately, incidents like this are incredibly rare and Thetford remains a safe place to live."

Not mentioning which aspects of it are the rarest, I see, Tel 'ol' son.... 

There Are Too Many Errors And Deliberate Concealing Of Evidence By Essex Police ....

 ...for the State to ever allow the conviction to be overturned:

In the millions of pages disclosed to Jeremy Bamber over the decades, in his bid to prove his innocence of one of the 20th century’s most notorious crimes, PC Nick Milbank is barely mentioned. But this week, new evidence emerged that the late police officer held an essential clue to what happened on the night of the massacre at Whitehouse Farm on 7 August 1985.

I've long believed not so much in Bamber's innocence, but in the fact that this conviction was based on such a fatally flawed investigation by the hopelessly institutionally incompetent Essex Police that the State will never permit it to be exposed.

Writing from Wakefield Prison, Jeremy Bamber says: “We asked that the CCRC appoint an independent investigator to go and speak to Mr Milbank about what he’d told the New Yorker magazine. The CCRC refused our request, thereby losing the opportunity to hear Mr Milbank’s evidence. “Not only do I have a rock solid alibi now, but proof that Essex police covered up Milbank’s evidence by faking a witness statement to mislead the courts. The fact that Mr Milbank has sadly died quite recently has further compounded the failures of the CCRC and Essex police.” Well, he would have a rock solid alibi if Essex police had not taken that final statement from Milbank. And now Milbank is no longer here to say which version is true. Bamber believes charges for perverting the course of justice should be brought in relation to the 2002 statement. “The CCRC has no choice but to refer my case to the court of appeal.” The Metropolitan police, which carried out Operation Stokenchurch, declined to comment.

Of course they did. If they truly carried out a full and proper investigation, they know what Essex Police did and did not doon that night, and they cannot be trusted to bring it to light.  

Bamber believes that Essex police should have an audio record of the 999 call. “Where is the audio recording of that telephone call now?” he writes. “One wonders where it might be.”

Who believes Essex Police still has it, more like... 

Well, Now He Knows Exactly How They Utterly Fail Those Challenges...

...coulld just have guessed that though, give he was dealing with the useless Met Police:

A Jewish lawyer was questioned by police after wearing a Star of David necklace which officers claimed 'antagonised' pro-Palestine supporters during a demonstration. 

He claims to have been acting as an independent spectator, watching the protest for illegal behaviour by participants and to observe how police responded to challenges on the ground.

Mission accomplished, chum!  

In a statement, police said the man was not arrested for wearing the necklace, but that he had allegedly 'continuously approached the area' allocated to the pro-Palestinian protestors on the evening, which in turn provoked a reaction.

And the fact that the Pally supporters response to the presence of a Jewish man near them was to 'react' bothered them not a jot, of course... 

 The man's defence labelled the officer's statements as 'ignorant' and said he had a 'great deal of concern' with the line of questioning.

As do we all... 

The detective said he did not want to offend by asking the question, adding that it was not a question about the man wearing the Star of David generally but in a 'very niche environment where tensions are high'. He then said that he did not want 'this to become a political debate in an interview'.

This is the calibre of man being appointed as a detective in the Mey Police? 

They rely on the old 'public order' bollocks, of course.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman told the Daily Mail: 'The man told officers he was acting as a legal observer, but his actions are alleged to have gone beyond observing to provoking and as such, actively participating as a protester.

'Over the course of an hour, the man is alleged to have continuously approached the area allocated to IJAN, getting very close to protesters to film them and in doing so provoking a reaction.

'Officers had to intervene on at least four occasions to ask the man to return to the Stop the Hate area as required by the conditions.

'When he failed to do so after multiple warnings, he was arrested. He was subsequently released on bail and the investigation continues.'

The investigation into what, exactly? Whether he's a habitual jewelley wearer? 

So Do You Not Have A Description Of The ‘Men’ Either…?

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a woman was raped by a group of men in a churchyard in an Oxfordshire town.

‘Men’ of no obvious appearance again? 

Officers said they wanted to trace a “Good Samaritan” they believe might have tried to help the woman as well as anyone else who might have information. The woman, who is in her 30s, was raped by a group of men at St Mary’s Church’s churchyard and the surrounding area of Banbury town centre, police said.

And a witness of no appearance too? 

DS Mark Personius, the investigating officer, said: “This is a horrific crime and Thames Valley police is conducting a thorough investigation to identify the offenders. “I am making a public appeal to a specific witness, a woman, who we believe may have tried to help the victim. At this stage, we don’t have a description of this Good Samaritan. However, if you believe you are the woman, please contact the police as you may have vital information that can help us piece together what happened.”

You don't appear to have anything to 'piece together', or are you simply not telling us what you do have deliberately? The police do, after all, have form for this. 

Atta Girl, Come Out Swinging!

 After all, what have you got to lose?

A woman who was jailed for stirring up racial hatred against asylum seekers has said she was made to be "Sir Keir Starmer's political prisoner". Lucy Connolly, from Northampton, was released on Thursday after serving 40% of her 31-month prison sentence.

And you'll now see the panoply of State arrayed against her as a result. And every talk show host and comedian and two-bit columnist in the land will have a sly dig, knowing it will find favour with the establishment.  

"I, for some reason, seem to have had the most coverage, but there are people that are in equally awful situations that shouldn't be in there," she said, speaking to journalist Allison Pearson, who had campaigned for Connolly's release. "I think with Starmer he needs to practise what he preaches.

 He's find that difficult, since what he preaches changes when the wind shifts....

"He's a human rights lawyer, so maybe he needs to look at what people's human rights are; what freedom of speech means; and what the laws are in this country."

Ah, if only it was the human rights of the British people that he cared about, but it's not. 

Connolly also told the Telegraph she was "upset and angry beyond belief" after the murders in Southport, and that she knew "how that feels because I've lost a child". "Of course,[the tweet] wasn't my finest moment and I don't, I definitely don't advocate violence or burning anything down or anything of the sort." She said she was considering legal action against the police over a statement that was released by the Crown Prosecution Service after her sentencing, which claimed she had told police in an interview that "she did not like illegal immigrants, external" and "that children were not safe from them".

Good. It's about time ther police were given a bloody nose over their partisanship. 

Her comments had been "massively twisted and used against me", she claimed.

It's who they are now, Lucy, it's what they do.... 

The Cops Aren't The Only Ones Misleading The Public....

Despite the huge interest the incident has caused in Nuneaton, sources have told the Mail on Sunday that Warwickshire Police advised local councillors and officials not to reveal the asylum seeker background of the two suspects, for fear of 'inflaming community tensions'.

Ho hum.... 

No-one involved in the sordid business of earning a few quid from this wretched trade is very chatty:

When the MoS contacted the owner of the property Mulakhil lived in, she said she was 'sickened to the stomach' when hearing about the incident. She said: 'I don't know anything because Serco manage the house completely.' When we asked Serco if they were aware of Mulakhil and Kabir, the company said in a statement: 'We do not confirm individual addresses, nor the names of people in properties we manage.'

But the one that was what let a very large cat out of the bag: 

Gorwan Muhammad Ali, 27, an Iraqi Kurd who lives in the same house as Kabir, said: 'I have not seen Kabir for a few days. The police have come round the house. Kabir came to this country to work.'

So he's not an asylum seeker at all, but an economic migrant. 

Last night, councillors from the Tory party, as well as Labour and Reform – which controls Warwickshire County Council – said they did not know much about the incident, despite the huge interest. They blamed the police for not sharing any information with them. But a source told the MoS certain councillors and officials were informed by the police about the incident, and were advised not to reveal to the public that the two assailants were asylum seekers.

And presumably didn't - until a source spilled the beans to the media on condition of anonymity. So what makes Reform any different from the useless Tories? 

Remember When You Read The Newspaper To Be Better Informed?

Who is the woman? On which side is she protesting? Who attacked her? No 'journalist' seems to want to find out. Probably in case they find out she's rentamob who the cops escorted to the hotel to mount a counterprotest...

“Disappointingly we have seen yet another protest, which had begun peacefully, escalate into mindless thuggery with individuals again hurting one of our officers and damaging a police vehicle,” Ch Spt Simon Anslow said in a statement.

 

The cops aren't talking about their mindless thuggery, oh dear me, no! They aren't counting their officer knocking out a protesters teeth with a riot shield, or their police van driver putting his foot down and running over a protester which, following the Chris Kaba case, should be classed as assault with a deadly weapon, shouldn't it?

In an apparent response to allegations that the police had taken a “two-tier” approach that favoured the counter-demonstration, Ch Supt Simon Anslow said: “Unfortunately, across social media we are seeing inflammatory comments which suggest we were supporting and enabling certain protesters.

“This is categorically not true. We police without fear or favour, remaining impartial at all times and have legal responsibilities to ensure peaceful protest is facilitated.”

And less than a day later, Anslow was exposed as a liar in the MSM. I would say 'typical of country bumpkins like Essex Police'  but actually, I think it's now merely typical of the entire country's police farces.

Low-Hanging Fruit

That's all our modern police farces want to deal with these days:

The incredible footage includes the man, wearing a beanie, being handcuffed and being pushed against a police car door as three officers surround him. A large bag of birdseed can be seen next to him on the kerbside.Footage later shows the distressed man hunched over and being led into the back of the police van where the door is shut and an officer can be heard saying he is 'under arrest'.

A pervert? A burglar? A shoplifter?No, Reader, just a man feeding the birds. 

Tony Gath who witnessed the incident said he was 'disturbed' by what he had seen. Tony said: 'It was disgusting behaviour, all they had to do was educate the man on where he can and can't feed the birds, then send him on his way.

'I'm disturbed that they felt that level of intimidation and power was acceptable at all, not just in public.'

 It's the only target they can display that level of intimidation against these days. Not really surprising they go balls-to-the-wall when they get the chance.

According to Wirral Council's official website there are 'no laws' that the council can effectively use to stop people feeding wild birds. But Environmental Health may be able to 'take action in significant and excessive cases' where rotten food waste is accumulating or the bird feeding can be shown to be the cause of an infestation of rats or mice. Cheshire Police said the council had previously reported to the police that feeding of the birds in the area was causing an 'increase in vermin'.

And the police, understanding that the balance of power these days has swung from the man in the street to a whole host of petty officialdom at the town hall, swung into action with a 'arrest first, release later when the spotlight's off and before solicitors can mobilise' protocol. Thereby marking themselves out, once again, as enemies of the people. I'm sure that won't come back to bite them in the arse in the future....

Dorset Police Fail To Read The Room

 When they geo flack from commenters and the public for sacking an officer for being 'insufficiently respectful' to the knife wielding teenager he was arresting, the PR Team evidently decided that if they released the video, the public would see sense and get behind them.

Well, to quote Vivian in 'Pretty Woman': "Big Mistake. HUGE!"

Another Triumph For Policing In The UK....

“It is believed the driver of the Ford Galaxy car involved in this incident was able to follow an ambulance on to Water Street after the roadblock was temporarily lifted so that the ambulance crew could attend to a member of the public who was having a suspected heart attack,” Merseyside’s assistant chief constable Jenny Sims told a press conference.

And did Merseyside plod make no attempt to stop the vehicle? Did they not notice it? 

“There was no intelligence to suggest an incident of this nature would take place,” she added, reiterating that it was not being treated as terrorism.

Really? So, is it normal to have snipers on rooftops for victory parades?

 

And is it normal to take so long to question a suspect for an event that took place on live tv, such that the newspapers have had time to get interviews with his family and neighbours?

Liverpool city council confirmed that hostile vehicle mitigation measures had been in place on Water Street as part of a rolling road closure to support the traffic management plan for the parade. Sims defended the policing operation during the parade, saying the force planned for “all contingencies” - including road closures and an armed police presence.

Didn't plan for those 'hostile vehicle mitigation measures' to be overridden by your Keysyone Kops on the ground though, obviously... 

It's Not Just The Sex Of The People They Are Looking For....

...it seems they are fully prepared to gaslight the public about the age now too. If he's really 16, he must have had a very tough paper round...in Afghanistan!

Nothing To Worry About, Just Go About Your Lives!

Police were called to a property on the A259 Marina in St Leonards on Thursday (March 20) following concerns over suspected chemicals found at the address. A section of the road was closed, and nearby homes were evacuated. More than 500 cannisters of chemicals were found inside the property, which have now been desensitised and disposed of safely. This included an additional 30 vessels of unidentified substances which are currently being tested.

So, terrorism? *laughs* Of course not! 

A 28-year-old man was arrested and has been detained under the Mental Health Act.

And the police do their best to reassure the population they are on top of things: 

Detective Superintendent Steve May said: “This has been a challenging few days for all involved, particularly those residents evacuated from their homes, and I would like to thank the public for their patience and support during this operation.

“We are doing all we can, with our partners, to bring this incident to a safe resolution and return the area to normality. I am confident the end is now well within sight.

“We are aware of speculation among the public around the full circumstances of this incident, and I would like to reiterate that, at this time, there is nothing to suggest any sinister motivation from the individual who has been detained, nor any ongoing risk to the public.

“There is currently no evidence to suggest any links to terror, extremist ideology or large-scale drug production.

Not really sure what that leaves, DS May.... 

And Are The Children So Very Different From The Adults?

A deep distrust of the police and a lack of youth opportunities fuelled the involvement of hundreds of “disempowered” children in last year’s riots across England, a report has found. Dame Rachel de Souza, the children’s commissioner for England, said young people were not primarily motivated by “far-right, anti-immigration or racist views” or by online misinformation, contrary to what she called the “prevailing narrative”.

She concentrated on the children because it's her job, but really, if she'd spoken to most of the adults involved in Starmer’s so-called ‘far right riots’, would the results have been any different? 

Instead, she said, many were driven by a hatred of police and saw the riots as a chance to retaliate. Others were “driven by curiosity or the thrill of the moment”.

Probably not. Despite the pontificating by the thin-skinned weirdo in No 10, hardly any of the protesters were 'far right', most of them weren't political at all. 

De Souza told the Guardian she was concerned about the “dangerous” treatment of children who received “unusually severe” punishments as part of the robust crackdown on rioters ordered by Keir Starmer last summer.

Again, she’s concerned about the children because it's her role, but surely the adults received equally harsh and unusually severe punishment too?

“I thought I would hear far more about [far-right influencers like] Andrew Tate. That’s not what I heard at all,” she said. “There was quite a group of the children who were there because they hated the police and they were clear about that.”

No need to wonder why, either. But it doesn't seem to have been the usual disaffected youth, not entirely:

These children – who included “star pupils”, army cadets and trainee electricians – saw the riots as “an opportunity to retaliate against the police” after previous bad experiences with officers and general community distrust, she said. One of the children charged said they joined a riot after hearing that the police would be there. They said: “We went down to see what it was. There’s a tradition in [my city] of people versus police. We had an opportunity.”

One wonders why any city in England would have a tradition of being against the police…

Chief Constable Kate Meynell will undergo a probe conducted by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) after claims she tried to suppress members of the media from revealing that the perpetrator of the attacks had previously been reported on two occasions, according to the Mirror.

It is, of course, the Valdo Calocane case.  

Knifeman Valdo Calocane had been reported to authorities for stalking on two separate occasions before stabbing Barnaby Webber, Grace O'Malley-Kumar and Ian Coates to death in 2023.

Chief Constable Meynell had revealed the oversight in a private press briefing but had journalists in attendance sign non-disclosure agreements, preventing them from publishing the information.

Not exactly Woodward and Bernstein are they, our modern journalists? 

This attempt to conceal police failings was revealed by the Nottingham Post, with the victims families launching a formal complaint to the Nottingham Police and Crime Commissioner.

Nor was this the only source of further lack of trust in the police from this DEI hire and this farce... 

In the wake of the stabbings, there were also calls for Chief Constable Meynell to step down when it emerged her own son was one of the Nottinghamshire Police officers circulating graphic details of the stabbings via WhatsApp.

Accosting one of the liaison officers, the clearly distressed man behind the camera says: 'He's just done a Nazi salute in front of you, you saw that! 'He just did a Nazi salute, goosestepping, a Nazi salute and you did nothing! How dare you!'

Another police liaison officer repeats that she is trying to see where the man has gone and that she is 'trying to assess where he is'.

The filmer replies: 'Why did you not stop him there and then? You let him walk past until I made a fuss. How dare you?'

Another protester, in the background, can be heard adding: 'Someone could have just grabbed hold of him, he was an old guy!'

Sussex Police will undoubtedly fall back on the 'That wasn't her role!' excuse: 

Police liaison officers attend marches and protests to identify and differentiate individuals and groups who may become involved in or encourage disorder or violence or increase levels of tension. They must also provide commanders with 'fast time' updates to enable informed and proportionate decision making, according to the College of policing. Officers are also responsible for sensing the mood and intent of groups and crowd members.

Not, you'll note, actually doing anything about it when it happens right in front of them. Maybe that's the real issue here?
