Could They Maybe Confine Themselves To Reality?

...I mean, it's not like there's not enough real life actual rapes to worry about, is there?

Police are investigating the first case of rape in the metaverse after a child was 'attacked' in a virtual reality video game.

I guess if the cyber-rapists used Muslim avatars, they'll be in the clear?

The headset-wearing victim did not suffer any injuries as there was no physical attack.

No kidding...?

Police leaders are now calling for legislation to tackle a wave of sexual offending in such a sphere, saying officers' tactics must evolve to stop perverts using new technology to exploit children.

Get back to proper policing, of actual real crimes, you lazy bastards!

I understand some people get killed in these virtual worlds? Investigating virtual murder and virtual rape and virtual mis-gendering should keep thousands of officers off the streets.

It would be (sort of) OK if those policing the games were simply virtual police. Unfortunately they are what passes these days as "real" police (well, not real police of course - just a collection of useless jobsworths).

Has the world gone mad, or is it me?

What are you supposed to do when you are 'forced' (and enthusiastically leap to comply) to hire (50%+ of your "manpower" from) a bunch of incompetent, lazy, stupid, tiny, woke women (queers, women-wearing-comfortable-shoes and minorities - preferably those who don't speak the language, hate the country and enforce only their own religious "laws")?

Answer, you can't put them "on the beat" because they'll be either ignored, laughed at or just beaten up, so ... you open up a plethora of safe, clean, air-conditioned "jobs" to install them in.

Care to check the staffing of these woke departments? You'll see they are almost exclusively staffed by women, homosexuals and ethnics. And ... 'that' is why they always seem to be targetting normal people.

The best bit though is that these somewhere-they-can't-cause-trouble posts are seen as 'managerial' and so the pool from which all senior positions are filled comes almost exclusively from them, and those who actually have some experience of 'the street' get overlooked. Now do you see why all senior officers come from the same woke mold, and act as they do?

Unfortunately anonymous at 1809 is absolutely spot-on.
I am good friends with a couple who's son has just started at Hendon. His intake has 50 probationers of which 46 are women. Now I obviously don't know any of them and they could turn out to be excellent hard-working officers, but but but .....

I'm surprised I've not been done for poaching in my hunting games!

"It would be (sort of) OK if those policing the games were simply virtual police."

They'd be hard to distinguish from the real sort...

"Has the world gone mad, or is it me?"

A question I suspect we all ask ourselves lately...

"The best bit though is that these somewhere-they-can't-cause-trouble posts are seen as 'managerial' and so the pool from which all senior positions are filled comes almost exclusively from them..."

It explains a lot about why the pace of destruction is accelerating!

"Now I obviously don't know any of them and they could turn out to be excellent hard-working officers, but but but..."

Well, quite! Where would the smart money place a bet?
