Police were called to Western Road in Brighton after reports that two men had painted their faces black and then a fight broke out in front of stunned shoppers.
The drama unfolded in front of shocked passersby enjoying their lunchtime.

Judging by the comments on that article it appears that this is just common or garden 'Care in the Community Street Theatre', of a sort that both Brighton council and the police have put up with for far too long.
Brighton does increasingly resemble an open air asylum.
