Can They Do Themselves For Wasting Police Time..?

A police sergeant who allegedly dangled a pepperoni pizza over the food of a Jewish officer is facing a disciplinary hearing.
Giving only the officer’s surname and rank, Sussex Police said PS Jacobs will appear before a panel over an allegation that his conduct breached police equality and diversity standards.
I suspect if it was a member of the public, they'd be doing him under 'hate crime' laws as well...

If it makes any difference and I am sure it doesn't, the sergeant's surname is of Hebrew origin.

I had once joined a queue (which included 2 plods) in a popular village shop when the young butcher was asked if he made black puddings. I crossed my fingers during the pause hoping for the "Make 'em do what?" reply and the classic baton + taser responses. And don't be fooled into thinking that couldn't happen.

No indication as to whether PS Jacobs !is himself Jewish, the name is ?

Based on the animal content of the average sausage, the claimant was obviously overreacting. It could, or course, have been vegan pepperoni, which is far more offensive if made from Quorn than any pork product.

Perhaps the Sergeant was just a COrbynite practising his Anti Semetism which is de rigeur in the Labour party these days.

Thanks for taking a few hours off essential box-ticking to construct your generous invitation, Jaded.

My take on this is that adults are now behaving like four year olds. Both the guy with the pizza and the Jewish guy with his wah wah wah reaction.

We'd never build enough prisons!
