No Professional Courtesy For Bloodsuckers?

Oh dear, how sad, never mind...

And in other pest-related news:
A flea-infested courtroom has halted the murder trial of a man who was strangled to death in his own home for a year.
The trial had already been going on for a month when the tiny biters invaded the space and the jury has had to be discharged.

Horrible creatures that prey on the weak are everywhere these days, it seems.

Six men are accused of murdering Ian Staves, 44, after he was found dead in his own home in September 2022.
Prosecutors claim he had been strangled by men planning to steal drugs from him at his home in Wooton, near Hull.
The court heard that the self-employed car sprayer - who lived next door to his mother - was a drug user who was being investigated by police. Half a kilogram of cocaine and a cannabis grow were found during a raid of his house.

See what I mean?

A man was strangled for a year? Did no one notice?

"...the murder trial of a man who was strangled to death..."

A bit harsh. The poor chap's dead. Shouldn't they be trying the person who murdered him?

I've just re-read it. It gets worse, apparently he was strangled to death for a year.

Aren't all HMRC offices staffed by blood-sucking bedbugs?

Why are there beds in HMRC offices anyway? Is it so that when they fuck over the poor taxpayer, they can do it in comfort?

I blame the education system.

A little poem from my school days springs to mind:

'Bigger fleas have smaller flees upon their backs to bite them
and smaller fleas have lesser flees have lesser fleas
and so proceed ad infinitum.'

Which seems to fit the situation here.

Journalistic standards ... 😉

I don't think you need beds for bedbugs, they seem happy with all sorts of furnishings!
