An escaped big cat believed to have been roaming the countryside for two months has been captured after being found with injuries in a plant pot in a back garden

They didn't learn a thing last time , did they? The fact a 'big cat' fits into a plant pot should give them pause, surely?

Kevin Murphy, of Norfolk Wildlife Rescue, has been trying to track down the Savannah cat since it was spotted three weeks ago near Bramerton, south of Norwich. The feline is native to sub-Saharan Africa and it had been on the loose since escaping from its home in May.

No, one of the species that makes up this hybrid animal is native to Africa... 

Do They Just Not Understand The English Language?

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a car hit with several people (Ed: maybe the BBC could use some English lessons too) on a busy shopping street in West London.

The Metropolitan Police said a 34-year-old Somali-born driver fled the scene but was stopped in nearby Grange Park a short time later, where he was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and attempted murder.

Earlier reports insisted he was 'a Britsh born man of Somali background'...

While counter-terrorism police were involved in the initial investigation, it is not being treated as terror-related. The Met said it was "keeping an open mind as to any potential motive".

Then it's not that open at all, if you have rejected the inconvenient possibility straight away.

Even if it turned out to be a serval, it wouldn't be classed as a 'big cat'. Yes, it's large, but the term doesn't relate to size.

 Because to most of us, it matters not at all...

Are you sure that's the reason? Is it not simply that they are backing away, rolling their eyes at yet another single issue loon who thinks the world revolves around her problems, and boy, does that get tiresome...

What Happenred To Journalism..?

 Yes, this is the BBC, the organisation that will refer unashamedly to a woman (without qualification that they are actually a man larping in womanface), putting inverted commas around the words terror charge, as if that wasn't exactly what it is....

No longer content to report the news, now they openly seek to manipulate it.

After finishing university and moving back to Birmingham, Khiefa Gabbidon struggled to make friends when she started work. The 22-year-old had a job in the tech industry which she described as a male-dominated field and said she did not have any women around her. "I looked around to see if I could find any female friends but I couldn't so I thought 'I'm going to have to create something'," she added.

A female friendship group? Well, that wasn't what I was expecting... 

Eager to find her clique, Ms Gabbidon created a community group for women in May called Space For Girls. It encourages like-minded women to meet up and take part in a range of activities such as running sessions, meals out and hiking. The group has since attracted more than 8,000 followers on Instagram and a WhatsApp community of more than 1,500 women.

Maybe the BBC are recruiting ex-Sunday Sport writers?
