A disabled teenager whose family moved house for a better life has died after being punched to the ground near his new home.Where did they move to? Lagos? The Bronx? Iraq?
Nope, Doncaster:
Mr Cox's distraught father Clive said the family had moved from Leicester to the Doncaster suburb of Bessacarr specifically because they believed it to be a safer area for their son.Just another random violent bunch of youths who will no doubt turn out to be well known by the locals, and quite untouchable...
The teenager had been out playing football with his sister Carrie-Ann, 16, and her 19-year-old boyfriend Nathan before the attack, his father said.
As they walked home, Mr Cox got into an argument with a group of youths and was knocked to the ground, he added.
Nathan stood over David's body to protect him from further blows, and had his hand broken.
Mr Cox said that after the attack the group 'just walked away'.Which will allow the professional do-gooders and child psychologists who will view this as another case of ‘not enough for the wee baa-lambs to do in their area’ to plead manslaughter and ensure they are once again protected from the consequences of their casual violence.
'They might have thought they'd just knocked him out, but in fact they'd killed him,' he said.
'We knew there wasn't much hope, and then the brain stem tests came back showing he was brain dead.
He added: 'We moved from a really rough area of Leicester because we thought Bessacarr would be a nicer place. It was, once.
'But since we've been here there's been an armed robbery at the newsagent's and a man killed outside a pub.
'I've had my car broken into, and now this happens. This is the sort of thing that you think goes on elsewhere.
Now, thanks to 10 years of soft NuLab policies, and 20 years before that of the liberal agenda pushed relentlessly through all areas of the establishment, it’s common everywhere.
Hell, even a place like Hebden Bridge in the Yorkshire countryside, a pretty little place I know well from childhood holidays, now harbours two legged beasts of the worst kind.
It should surprise no-one these thugs are back out walking the streets:
A police spokesman said: 'An 18-year-old man has died after he sustained serious head injuries following an altercation involving a group of teenagers at around 10.15pm on Monday.Released on bail...
'The three men, all aged 18 or 19, who were arrested on suspicion of assault have been released on bail pending further inquiries. A post mortem will be carried out.'
That says it all, doesn’t it?

I can´t believe those cruel parents only got light sentences, which will also be halved by the time it comes to it.
What price are we putting on life these days?
Suspicion of assault? Manslaughter at minimum, surely?
Punching and killing a disabled man/boy is 'assault' and you are free on bail. What an utter bunch of wankers the police and courts are.
Rob, the police only charge on the advice of the CPS. It is the CPS that tells the police what to charge people with. The police no longer make charging decisions, not since before 2003 or so. Do not blame the police - blame this government especially but also the Tory one before that allowed this crazy, over bureacratic and lawyer run system to be imposed.
"What price are we putting on life these days?"
Very little.
"The police no longer make charging decisions, not since before 2003 or so."
Yup, I'm afraid the Major government has just as much skin in this game as Blair's regimes.
I would find it helpful to refer to some ready formula devised by a Chief Constable or Director of Social Services, explaining how the value of a human life degraded over the past two decades.
The way things are going the police may find themselves surplus to requirements.
Eventually one community will break and form their own vigilante group, at that point others will go "hmmm... there's an idea" and we'll start to see a bit of breakdown.
It won't be a major breakdown, probably just some badly beaten chavs followed by some hand-wringing, wrist slapping, promises to listen...
Dont believe all you read............
People should wait to hear the true story. Newspapers twist everything....
This story has led me to question everything I now read in the newspapers. Attention grabbing headlines galore but then never told the truth.
If you have a comment to make, anon, then make it...
