Something Rotten In The State Of Denmark UK

While we congratulate ourselves on the resounding ‘No thanks!’ delivered all across Europe to the left, a quick round up of the domestic news on Monday shows just what still needs to be done to restore our country to normality:
A pregnant young mother was stabbed to death in a “completely random” attack while walking to work today, police said.

Detective Superintendent Christine Kelk said the woman, who was in her early 20s, was on her own when it appears she was attacked by a man she did not know and stabbed in the back.
There are no further details as yet, but the ‘random’ and ‘unknown to victim’ aspect (and the reaction - when apprehended - of the suspect) makes me think this may well turn out to be yet another ‘care in the community’ case.
A husband is being hunted by police after the decomposing body of a woman was found in a wheelie bin in a quiet suburban street.

The neighbour also saw the wheelie bin on its side on the driveway shortly before police were called. “The binmen come on Fridays around here but it wouldn’t have been collected because they won’t come down the path — you have to put it out on the pavement. It could have been there for three weeks.”
The perfect hiding place for a body, it would seem, is no longer the shallow grave in the woods or your neighbouring pig farm – it’s the ‘too heavy’ or ‘too far up the driveway’ wheelie bin, which will go uncollected for week while council workers shake their heads and drive on by.
An emergency patient died after a paramedic allegedly diverted an ambulance because his shift had ended.

The 3.3 mile (5.3 km) journey from the patient's house to the hospital should have taken less than 10 minutes.

But the delay meant he was not admitted to hospital until 30 minutes after the 999 call was made.
No further details have yet emerged, but I wonder if this ambulance was sent (despite the nearness to end of shift) because it was the only one available, or because the all important ‘targets’ take priority and the paramedics are expected to just put up with it?

And then we have the icing on the cake:
One of Britain's most notorious female murderers has been given £5,000 of cosmetic surgery on the Health Service.
While elsewhere, pensioners are denied treatment for macular degeneration on ‘cost effective’ grounds…

Now, you may wonder what all these incidents have in common.

On the surface, nothing.

But they speak to a deeper malaise in this country, a collapse of law and order, of proper care and restraint for the mad, bad and dangerous, an obsession with targets, rules and regulations (while losing sight of the big picture), the reduction in critical frontline staff while the backroom pen-pushing staff multiply like rabbits and the overly-developed sense of ‘rights’ for those who have abrogated those of others, yet never seem to lose out as a result.

Changing the government, while welcome, isn’t going to fix this. We should be cautious – it’s going to be a long, long haul.

Exchanging one government for a clone is akin to choosing a new driver to circle the same roundabout. It is not so much Tory vs. Labour. The monstrously rotten Establishment assembled by a succession of governments, has enormous responsibility for the symptoms linked by this perceptive article.

Millions must be thinking the justifiable treason which cannot be uttered, Julia.

Precisely.

Until the mechanism of government - the public sector - is reformed and aligned with the true desires of the public (not what focus groups tell them it should be), swapping the bums on the seats of the HoP is an exercise in utter futility..

Who is John Galt?

It boils down to contempt - the contempt of the State towards the people. They really couldn't give a shit about us, as long as the money keeps rolling in.

Good round-up.

"The perfect hiding place for a body, it would seem,"

Actually the perfect place is, as you have noted, outside Dale Farm since it is exempt from any police involvement.

We need to up the ridicule. Bar pikestaffs, nothing irks them more than being laughed at. Particularly socialists. Also stop the "they're all the same" narrative or nothing will change.
