"...Meh! Close enough. Readers won't notice anyway..."

I don't understand this, how can anybody possibly not get this right? I typed the word 'snow' into a Google search and snow leopard was the top result, so you don't even need to know how to spell it. There were pictures of snow leopards on the results page. What kind of imbeciles are they aiming at with their publication? people so stupid that they don't know the difference between a snow leopard and a tiger cub presumably.
The problem is that we are seeing the results of 'education, education, education' and the unions interpretation of it. After all how many of todays 'teachers' would know the difference anyway?

Pay peanuts, get monkeys. Which they'd describe as hamsters.

Ahhhh, plus ca changes.. My mum had to be called to my junior school when I corrected one of my teachers who told the class a whale was 'a big fish'. She saw the funny side and told them where to go!

Oh come on, you would have to come from another planet not to know the difference between a tiger and a leopard.
