A crowd of about 100 people shouting “cops go home” took part in a seven-hour protest in Bristol as immigration enforcement officers attempted to remove a man who was allegedly in the country illegally.
...
Laurie Underwood, one local resident who was protesting, said: “At the heart of every bit of immigration enforcement violence like this is a person who was just trying to get on with their day and a community who knows and respects them. It’s not OK to kidnap our friends and neighbours. It’s brutal and unnecessary. The response in Easton last night shows we don’t have to sit back and watch it happen.”
Except that's essentially what you all did.
The man was detained and remains in immigration detention pending his removal from the UK.
Heh!
Another local resident who joined the protest, Heather Newson, said the man was well known and liked by those in the community who used the shop.
Of the protest, she said: “It was totally Easton community doing an awesome thing.”
Good thing you didn't have jobs to do instead, eh?

"At the heart of every bit of immigration enforcement violence like this is a person who has entered the country illegally" is more to the point.
And would they turn out like this for a white American who supported Trump?
It's Easton. One of the more vibrant parts of our fair city. Lots of noise but little else.
It never ceases to amaze me how people still get taken in by this 'illegal immigrant wants to be here' sob-story business.
First off, the person broke the law of the country to get here. May indeed be a nice person, etc, but their first act was to flout a law of the land. So, what makes these people think they will never break another law again? Maybe even a law that is designed to protect, oh I dunno, the residents of Easton? One of the things about lawbreakers is they tend to regard all laws as flexible if not downright breakable.
If nice person wanted to stay, he or she or it, could have gone through the approved channels. Then no problem, they stay. Then nice person would go on to do great things without anyone noticing, or caring.
But, illegal immigrant facing deportation really does stir up the lefty mobs. Question is, would lefty mob like to go ad live in nice person's country? Would they dare go there illegally, or would the local cops beat the living poo out of them? Hmmm...

I had a feeling it would be!

Oh, I don't think they are taken in at all. I think it simply suits their 'counter culture' beliefs to say so.
