Let's venture further back in History to yet another century, JuliaM.
Wear your Eyepatches with Pride today, as we Remember brave King Harold. It's an heroic tale albeit nobody knows the exact circumstances in which the poor guy died. So the rest of us are now groping in the dark when it comes to knowing exactly how to otherwise commemorate the awful slaughter that shaped and still shapes, the map of Europe, its politics and society.
