PR guru Lynne Franks, 71 on the news that Harvey Nicholls will still stock real fur:
'Consumer trends are going to go more into natural clothes, natural fibers, as people become more aware of what's going on in the world.
'That trend is going to increase and that includes money to spend.
'I think Harvey Nichols will actually alienate a lot of their potential customers by selling fur. It's not the way the market is going, it's not the way the trends are going.'
What, exactly, does she think fur
is, if not a natural, biodegradable, sustainable resource?

I wore fur in winter in Russia. Only the unknowing did not.
Another 'right on' minor sleb showing off her woke credentials. I assume her views will include not wearing leather shoes (all those dead cows, pigs, and snakes) or silk clothing (cruelty to silk worms) or even rubber (mutilating the living trees). When these people wear only nylon and plastic, and have shoes made of grass, then I may listen to them. Until then, Lynn who?

Acrylic is natural, right?
"I wore fur in winter in Russia. Only the unknowing did not."

"Acrylic is natural, right?"
