What happened to Yorkshire?

Yet not one complicit plod was arrested alongside these 'Yorkshiremen'.
With SO many people involved in this, over such a long period of time, it would be impossible for others not to know about it. How many people from the Asian community knew about this and said, and did, nothing? How many Islamic Imams and Muftis, promoting the benefits of following the Islamic religion, knew about this and said, and did, nothing? How many social workers, quite a few of them Asian women, knew about his, r suspected it was happening, and said, and did, nothing? How many Police officers, some of who would be Asian, knew, or suspected, this was happening and said, and did, nothing? Those borne in Yorkshire often claim it to be God's country. If there is a God, he abandoned that county year's ago.
Penseivat
Flat caps, whippets, racing pigeons, all dirty bastards.
That particular 'Yorkshire' culture as represented by the usual suspect names in this latest in a long line of similar cases, is not so much 'flat cap and whippet' more 'headchopping and hatred'.
"Charged with" - put the thumb screws away until there's some convictions.
@Anonymous, 12:39, get down to the bookies, pronto, as they are laying odds of a hundred million to one that at least one of the bastards will be convicted.
But it's only the tip of the iceberg, all the major cases so far have been from relatively small communities like Rotherham and Halifax - they simply dare not lift the sewer-lid on the festering pit that is Bradford, where the target population is many times larger and the offending rate will far exceed any others.
But who's got the balls to open that putrid can of worms? Certainly not the PC Police, colluding Council, or gormless Government, it's far too big to handle. So 'normal' life carries on, because no-one will stop it. Who wins?
More Mongols, Koreans, Tibetans, Chinese, Russians, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, etc. Bloody Asians.
Mudplugger, you are correct, this latest case is merely the tip of a very large iceberg. I also agree that the cases that have been revealed and prosecuted so far are in smaller towns and cities and I would add Telford and Oxford to your list although there are more.
Bradford as you say is likely to be a festering pit of offences of this nature but political pressure from the Left, from those cowards who do not want to tell the public just how bad the situation might be and police forces that don't want to have to deal with the violence and disturbance that will without a shadow of a doubt occur from violent ROPERS should the police actually do their jobs and investigate allegations of these crimes in Bradford. Much of what applies to Bradford regarding politics, demographics and cowardly police also applies to London where there have been - suspiciously in my view - almost no allegations or investigations into Grooming Gang activity despite London sharing many of the similar demographic and political issues as other places where Grooming Gang activity has been found.
Doonhammer. I utterly despise the use of the term 'Asian' to describe these offenders. It unjustly smears those Asian groups that have little or nothing to do with these revolting offences.
Some fine old English names on that list, what a blessing immigration has been to the UK. Why this situation should surprise anyone is a mystery, minor political parties have been shouting these facts for anyone willing to listen for over 10 years. The big problem is that nobody in any position of power has been willing to listen, its not PC and could affect future promotion or job prospects you see.
"Yet not one complicit plod was arrested alongside these 'Yorkshiremen'."
And almost certainly never will be...
"How many people from the Asian community knew about this and said, and did, nothing?"
That's the problem. We shouldn't have 'a XXX community' as a seperate identity.
"But it's only the tip of the iceberg, all the major cases so far have been from relatively small communities..."
I fear you're right...
"The big problem is that nobody in any position of power has been willing to listen, its not PC and could affect future promotion or job prospects you see."
It certainly would, we've seen that in action.
