When it has to be decided who has hated who the most, the list of protected characteristics appears to be in order of preference, with the possible exception of transgender being ranked last. It is a bit of a wild card, where a thoroughly unconvincing example has a reasonable chance of trumping anything.
In this case it is possible that the minicab driver is playing multiple very strong cards against a disabled woman, two of the lowest ranked characteristics.
