I'd popped to my local farm shop to get some fruit, wondering as we drove there why cars were stopping along the route and people were standing in fields. Soon found out, as the flypast was coming right over the area! This is taken from the farm shop carpark.

My only regret is that some iconic aircraft were missing - VC10, Vulcan, Concorde. Otherwise - a wonderful day.
Sadly missed. But yes, what an amazing sight.
I was at RIAT on the occasion of HM presenting new Colours to the RAF in the UK and the RAF Regiment. On walking past the VC10 I observed to by sgt it must be a replica as a. there were no trays underneath slowly filling with oil and hyds and b. the serviceable one had been in the flypast.
