Streaming TV: Ms Marvel (Disney+)

Not a character I ever really read much about, when the trailers for this one debuted I was 'What?! Really..?'

But it worked! It was such a difference from the other Marvel offerings, and it really did have a charm all of its own. It introduced a community that didn't seem to feature anywhere else in the genre too, parts of New York that didn't get much screen time, and above all, it was fun

Is it woke and PC though?

Why is it that, in the Marvel universe, it seems as if there is only one super villain at a time? It's the same with other series which, as a fan of good SF, spoils the plot lines.
For instance, Stargate, which had an initial interesting premise, fights the Ga-ould, then the Replicators, then the Ori. It's as if they are all lining up, and waiting, to have a go when the previous lot fails, and please don't ask for my comments on the various Star Trek spin-offs.
Perhaps I've been spoiled over the years, with good stories, which stimulated the imagination, the last being "The Martian".

Well, a bit. But I can ignore that.

It's a bit like kung fu films, where they all wait patiently for a turn rather than swarming the hero en masse!
