Or Your Friend's Fishpond....

It was created by the company Zapata, whose CEO Franky Zapata piloted the flight.
His ultimate vision is to provide the "dream mobility" seen in old Hollywood films allowing users to "take off from your garden and land in your friend's garden for a barbecue".
So long as your friend lives closer than 20.6 miles away, that is?

The long held dream of everyone having a personal aircraft / helicopter / flying car parked in their garage forgets that all of these devices will be subject to the UK's Air Navigation Order, as they share airspace with every other flying machine. While there may be ongoing trials of drones delivering medicines & parcels etc, I don't believe the CAA will allow even "fully autonomous" passenger carrying machines in UK airspace without a qualified pilot on board. This applies especially to any "Hire & Reward" air-taxi work - which requires far more stringent maintenance and operating procedures - than does private flying.

Much as I love Uber, a flying taxi would not be something I’d ever use!
