There Was Once A Time...

...when hearing a man with a double-narrelled name had been shot, one would assume a tragic safari accident, or perhaps storming an enemy encampment at the head of an army brigade.

No longer:

Detectives have arrested a man on suspicion of murder after Jazmel Patterson-Low was gunned down in Lambeth. A 25-year-old man has been detained in south London after Jazmel Patterson-Low, 26, was shot on the Westbury Estate around 2am on Saturday and died in hospital. The suspect has been remanded in custody, Metropolitan Police said on Tuesday. Mr Patterson-Low suffered a single gunshot wound in Rule Street and was dropped at Thomas’s Hospital in a private car, but later died.

By fellow thugs, no doubt. Nice of them to spare the paramedics a trip.

Detective Inspector Martin Thorpe, Specialist Crime, leads the investigation and said:“We know there was a group of around 40 people gathered in and around St Rule Street on Friday evening and the early hours of Saturday morning.

A group of people with no discernable appearance?

Several people have come forward to provide information and I am extremely grateful to them. “However, I am certain there are other people who will know what happened in St Rule Street and who was responsible for the shooting.

 Well, undoubtedly!

I urge them to come forward and share that information.

Dream on, Marty old boy.

Oopsie..!

Chiragh Chiragh (Ed: So good they named him twice?), 39, gunned down Mohamed Muhyidin, 28, as he sat in the front passenger seat of a car parked outside a flat in High Street, Harlington, west London in the early hours of Halloween morning in 2021.
He then drove the victim's body minutes away round the corner and dumped it by the side of the road near to Heathrow Airport, where it was found by a taxi driver.

Save your tears for this 'poor victim', though. He was no innocent.

The shooting happened in a car park outside a block where one of the flats was used as a base for drug users and dealers to meet, police said. Chiragh and Muhyidin, along with another man - Mohammed Shakeel who had a fake firearm - and a 17-year-old boy all went to the flat the previous evening, where an argument broke out. Just before 5am, Chiragh left the flat with a submachine gun and got into a car with Muhyidin, who was sitting in the front passenger seat. But as he climbed out of the back door of the vehicle, the gun accidentally went off and Muhyidin, who was sitting directly in front of Chiragh, was shot through the chair.

I'm sure Alec Baldwin knows how you feel, Chiragh!

Detective Inspector Lucy Carberry from the Met's Specialist Crime Command said today (Mon) that the defendants intended to injure someone that day, even if it was not the actual victim.

Well, indeed! Dumb criminals are always the best criminals, aren't they..?

Another Case Of 'No Humans Involved'...

Police confirmed one man, a musician of Somali heritage known by his street name 'Giddy' and who boasted of killing members of a rival gang, was found dead inside a property in Henley Road, Ilford at midnight on Tuesday.
Music videos shared by the rapper on his social media pages and across YouTube detail ferocious attacks on members of Manor Park - a separate Newham-based gang that has been embroiled in turf wars for many years.

Also another case of 'live by the sword...'.

Conclusion...

June 2021:

So far only one person Cameron Deriggs, 18, has been charged in connection with the incident with conspiracy to murder. Sasha's mother has called on any witnesses to come forward and speak to authorities.

February 2022:

A trial had been fixed for March 7 but at an Old Bailey hearing on Tuesday the prosecution announced the Crown would not be pursuing the case. The four men all jumped up from their seats and cheered as they were told the case would be quashed upon review.
During the hearing before Mr Justice Hilliard, Mr Heywood outlined the circumstantial case against the defendants, saying the decision to drop the case had followed a careful review involving the highest level at the Crown Prosecution Service.
He said he was unable to give full reasons for the decision but had provided details to the court as to why the CPS had no option.

Only In Liverpool....

No, not to the dead guy, that'd be stupid!
He said he told their mutual friend Kevin Riley "sorry", after unintentionally shooting Mr Atkins in the stomach , at around 2am.
Asked how he showed his remorse, he said: "What do you want me to do? Buy him a box of Milk Tray to say I'm sorry?"
Loverbale scallies, all!
Under questioning by Nicholas Johnson, QC, defending, Ball accepted he was a heroin, cocaine and alcohol addict.
His criminal record - starting at the age of 12 - includes assault, thefts, going equipped for burglary, robbery and drug offences.
Ball said he was with Mr Riley on May 5 and took around 10 Pregabalin painkillers, prescribed for nerve damage after he was hit by a car.
He said he also had up to 50 of Mr Riley's diazepam tablets, before they were joined by Mr Atkins, and CCTV showed them shoplifting.
I feel there's no loss of human life her at all...
