More Suicidal Empathy

Gary Freeman, 65, was leading a group of tourists on a guided hike when he brandished his revolver to try to scare off the animal but did not pull the trigger.

If he was only equipped with a revolver, its only use would have been to put it to his own head before the elephant could reach him!

Judy Connors, from Johannesburg, attended Mr Freeman's safari camp at Klaserie in February, writing on Facebook: 'In the past we have heard Gary speak of his deep respect and love for the elephants. 'He said he would rather be killed by an elephant than shoot one. 'Perhaps this is what I want to believe but there must have been a special bond, soul-to-soul, for this elephant to be the chosen one tasked with his deliverance.'

This is the sort of nonsense I expect from Greens and little children.

Another friend, Thomas Marshall, said: 'I had the pleasure of joining Gary three times on his wilderness hikes and he was totally at one with nature and told the most amazing stories around the camp-fire. 'The word legend is much abused but he truly was one.'

I wonder in his final moments if he regretted being ‘at one with’ such nature?

Though he died on April 9, the circumstances of Mr Freeman's death have just emerged and police in Limpopo Province have opened an inquest into the episode. It is understood no action has been taken against the elephant but experts have been called in to study its behaviour and assess its threat to others.

In any era but this one, there would be no question whether or not to cull it.

All The Usual Suspects, Francine?

Shilling for an Afghan refugee in the States, Ali Faqirzada, she tries to bolster her appeal by telling us who else supports it.
Among his advocates are Leon Botstein, president of Bard College and himself a refugee from the Nazis, who has stated that wisest course in such situations is to be as vocal – to make as much noise – as possible. Others who have spoken out on Faqirzada’s behalf include the New York governor, Kathy Hochul, Congressman Pat Ryan, a Democrat of New York, the communities of New Paltz and Stone Ridge, New York, and the Episcopal bishop Matthew Heyd, who led a vigil in November outside Delaney Hall.

A long list of the usual suspects, inveterate bleeding hearts who are ideologically wedded to refugee status or/and rich enough not to have to live with the fallout from same.

The merits of Ali’s case and the sheer absurdity of the suggestion that the genial, well-liked college student could pose any sort of terrorist threat has prompted an outpouring of popular support.

Aheer absurdity, Francine? Really?

The sweeping new changes targeting Afghans were enacted in the aftermath of the tragic Washington DC shooting of two national guard soldiers, one fatally, by an Afghan national who had worked with the CIA and whose application for asylum had been thoroughly vetted and approved.

No doubt you'd have described that similarly, before the shots rang out?

Common sense – a trait that the Republican party has claimed as an essential aspect of their political agenda – suggests that a genial, kind-hearted, highly motivated computer science student and hospital security guard should not be held accountable for someone else’s crime.

I look forward to you explaining to your coterie that the average modern white American shouldn't be held responsible for slavery, a crime they neither comitted nor benefitted from, eh?

Nor should the entire Afghan community, many members of which have fled great danger at home, be punished for the actions of one man and made to worry about whatever safety and stability they have managed to find in our country.

Safety and stability that, as we know now, may be a sham...

I Bet These Two Held ‘Refugees Welcome’ Placards At Some Point Too…

A rescue dog which attacked a County Durham mum and her teenage daughter has been put down by police. Animal lovers Kim and Ella Robson from Spennymoor took in Caucasian shepherd, Boss, three, on September 24, after coming to an "agreement" with his previous owner in Ferryhill. The large dog was said to have “melted the hearts” of Kim, 59 and Ella when they first brought him home, but things soon changed when he attacked them weeks later.

It was the second attack, because some people are too damn stupid to learn the first painful lesson.

The teenager said: “When he attacked me, I got told to put him down there and then and I said no. I said I’d never get a dog and put it straight to sleep. I said he needs a chance. He had that chance.

Yes, he did. And what happened? This time he went for a double!

The following day, Durham Police were called to the family home, where Boss was taken away and put down.A Durham Police spokesperson confirmed he was "put to sleep on October 12". Despite their ordeal, the mum and daughter say they “don’t blame” Boss for what happened.

Nor do I it's an animal, after all - I blame you two for your utter stupidity in taking in an animal of this type.

Kim said: “I’m just pleased he got two weeks of a family life. We knew he could go the other way as they are guardian dogs.”

They should be made to repay every penny they cost the emergency services.

Gaslighting Is Normal Now In The MSM

It's not confined to nonsense like 'she exposed her penis', oh, dear me no...
The mayor was taken to Bochum hospital, where Stalzer was found to have 13 stab wounds to the upper body as well as multiple hematomas and skull fractures. Despite her extensive injuries, the SPD politician survived the ordeal and was questioned by police - revealing that her life-threating condition was caused by her own child.
No, Reader, not true - she has no children. But like so many middle class white female leftwingers afflicted with suicidal empathy, she adopted two. Both foreigners.
Police initially arrested both children but the pair have been released after the public prosecutor's office decided it would not pursue an attempted homicide charge, downgrading the crime to the German equivalent of grievous bodily harm.

Whut!?

The 17-year-old's calling the emergency services is considered a 'resignation from the crime' and because neither child is considered at risk of fleeing, they will not be arrested.

Germany is doomed, isn't it?

"Take me in oh tender woman", sighed the snake"

We all know the song, don’t we?
Victoria Adams, 37, was found dead at her flat in Hammersmith, west London, on February 9 after police were called to a report of a man attempting to break into the property in Coulter Road. She was found face down in a bedroom with a black bin bag over her head, which was covered by a pillow.

And the culprit wasn't hard to find. It was could almost be said to have been suicide by naivety.

Ms Adams had suffered at least 10 separate injuries to the back and side of the head from being struck with a blunt object - said to be a mallet which was found with her blood and DNA on it. Her attacker, Apapale Adoum, 39, who was arrested at the scene, had met her on February 6 when he was living in a homeless shelter. She had invited him to stay with her but later wrote a note to ask him to leave.
Adjourning sentencing, Judge Nigel Lickley KC told the defendant: 'The sentence for murder is a life sentence and that is what I will pass on October 24.'

Why not pass it immediately? What are you waiting for? More middle class suicidally-liberal white women to write a sentencing report on how the justice system should go easy on him, I suppose...

Kindness Can Get You And Your Pets Slaughtered...

A common mantra on the progressive side is; 'Be Kind'. It seems innocent enough, but as with everything else from the Left, be warned...
In a tearful statement, a colleague from Mr Brown's law firm told the hearing that the victim would have helped anyone if he could, adding that Naveed had taken away any 'future memories'. She said: 'He wasn't just a 72-year-old-man tragically killed by his housemate, he was a solicitor, a boss, a partner, a kind man.'

Tragically, that drove him to take in a foreign nutcase as a houseguest, who promptly repaid that kindness by killing him. And his cat

Habiba Naveed, 35, also said she was 'Jesus' and had been 'sent to eliminate evil from the world' after battering her 72-year-old landlord to death and stabbing his pet cat in the neck. Naveed previously denied the murder of solicitor Christopher Brown, but pleaded guilty to his manslaughter. She also admitted causing unnecessary suffering to his cat Snow by stabbing him in the neck on or before August 15 last year.
At a hearing at the Old Bailey on Thursday, Judge Sarah Munro KC imposed a hospital order under Section 37 of the Mental Health Act and a restriction order under Section 41 - meaning Naveed can be detained indefinitely.

But almost certainly won’t be, she’ll be released as ‘cured’ soon as so many are, to a location well away from where ever it is that Judge Sarah Munro or any of the senior consultants at her mental hospital live, of course…

But No-One Will Be Sacked Or Face Any Consequences....

Failings by a Labour-run council contributed to the death of a foster mother who was killed by a 12-year-old boy she was caring for

The boy said to police: 'Is she dead?' and 'looks like I got my first kill?' before insisting: 'It was an accident, I swear.' When he was arrested after trying to run away from police, the balaclava-clad youngster told a policewoman: 'I'm going to f***ing kill your family, you b****, and I don't give a f***.'

All he got was two years for manslaughter, and is probably out roaming the streets by now. The coroner is pointing finges:

She said the circumstances which led to the fatal incident 'were contributed to by the failings of the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council to have appropriate systems and processes in place when placing foster children, including but not limited to the lack of accurate and complete documentation, failure to communicate risks and concerns appropriately, failure to conduct appropriate risk assessments and failing to safeguard those in their care'. Ms Whittle said she would be writing a 'prevention of future deaths' report addressing issues including the council's lack of documentation and failure to complete forms; and a shortage of placements, although she said this was a 'national issue' and not just to be directed at Rotherham.

No doubt, but what consequences will there ever be for people who failed their duties, when they work for the State? People who rely on those with this sort of suicidal empathy?

The inquest heard how Mr and Mrs Grant volunteered to take him, despite them being categorised as only able to take in one child at a time, largely because of the complexities Child Y presented to them.

The complexities, or the colour of the child's skin? The foster parents were black, and although his idenntity has not been revealed, I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts the kid is too...

Ms Whittle said that Child X had a youth caution for possessing a knife and had at times talked about wanting to be part of gang culture, but this information was not included on the initial placement referral form, making it 'deficient'. She said Mrs Grant's decision that she could provide Child X with a short term placement 'was made without her full knowledge of Child X's risks' because of 'the failings of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council to have in place systems and processes to ensure full details are included and up to date forms were used'.

She's dead, and cannot speak to her knowledge, which is handy for the coroner, I guess!

Who Brought Him Here?

And why isn't thst person sharing the dock with him?
A Qatari camel herder who sexually assaulted a woman at a specialist heart clinic blamed the attack on having ‘little interaction’ with women in his home country. Nasser Al-Gherainiq has been jailed for seven years and will be deported after his release after dragging the woman into the toilet at the world famous Royal Brompton Hospital in Chelsea, South West London.

Someone paid for this operation - who was it? Why can't we know?

Dog Lovers? Are They The Worst?

Bad enough that Farage-worshipping GB News uses Rupert Lowe's hard decision for his ailing dog's euthanasia to whip up a furore, now we have this:

A man whose three-year-old daughter was attacked by a dog has criticised the abuse she has since received online.
Rowen Skinley, from Rainham, said the attack by the cockapoo on his daughter, Bunnie, was "totally unprovoked" and that the bite marks indicate that her arm was "tucked in" at the time.
Yes, astounding as that will sound to normal people, it happens with every dog attack incident - the dog enthusiasts pile on to social media to argue the 'not all dogs ' line, or suggest the victim deserved it or provoked it in some way (yes. even if that victim is a child!). Even when there is clear evidence of the threat posed by the beast, they get especially upset when police have to destroy it - I haven't had time to peruse social media for this last incident yet as I'm still in holiday-mode, but I guarantee there will be some idiot raging that the cops should have tranquillised it - which they did actually try to do first.

In fact, just to prove a point, I had a quick look and it didn't take me long:

And no, not all those 79 replies are disagreeing with her!

The mutts in the video look very much like Cane Corso mixes to me - the next breed that needs to be added to the DDA list.

What Happened To The Classic Englishman Explorer?

I’ve been in situations where I’ve heard the bear pump-priming itself with oxygen as it prepares to launch itself for the kill – the heavy breathing sounds like a London tube train. That’s when you’ve got to use your firearm to maximum effect – holding your nerve and firing immediately above its head.

Ummm, dude, I really don't think you understand what 'maximum effect' means...
