Dining al fresco in French towns in summer?
We have had several toilets explode sewage all over the rooms at my place of work.
Turds hanging from the ceiling like stalagtites.
And yes, somebody was sitting on one at the time.
Oh how I laughed!
At least one fella got his out (oo-er missus). If they'd all joined in with hoses, jetwashers and a couple of buckets of bleach...even if they just did in front of their own house and helped the odd elderly/infrim neighbour....then the streets could easily have been cleaned in a day or two.
What do these people do when the kids forget to flush the toilet a few times ? Call out a plumber ?
Honestly....no Dunkirk Spirit anymore, is there.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised...
Neither would I - remember the way inhabitants of a notorious Midlands estate reacted to a failure in water supply?
Trucks sent in with bottles of drinking water were hijacked at their first stop by a group of residents, who, disregarding any attempt at fair distribution, seized the entire contents by force.
One of the offenders later justified his actions by pointing out his family needed far more than the 26 litres they were officially allocated: "it takes six bottles every time just to flush the toilet".
I do indeed remember that - I was eagerly awaiting an encore when the hosepipe ban was announced!
