"Feelings, nothing more than feelings..."

Remember your first few days at secondary school? The uniform, the new schedules, the new teachers, the faked typhoid epidemics…wait. What?
Some Year Seven pupils were left crying in fear that they may have the disease until it was revealed that it was just a role play for a creative writing class.

They had been told there was a local typhoid epidemic and if they were suffering they would be locked in the school for 48 hours.
‘Welcome to school, drones! We feel free to lie to you and scare the pants off you, just for fun! What, you thought the bullies were just going to be among your classmates…?’
The head teacher at Bower Park School in Romford had to explain to angry parents that it was part of a push to 'eradicate passive learning and replace it with exciting creative lessons'.
Note that ‘apologise’ doesn’t factor into it, merely ‘explain’…
The school defended the role play saying it was part of the national curriculum active learning in English which puts children in real life situations to put them in touch with their feelings so they can write about them.
Never mind the facts, feel the feelings

No wonder we are raising a nation of impulsive, poorly-motivated, ignorant illiterates!

Are you surprised? This is an "education" system which produces a jury prepared to acquit these thugs. People brainwashed by the MSM - particularly the state broadcaster (Roger Harrabin must have been doing cartwheels when the verdict came in) - devoid of common sense or intellectual independence: a description which applies equally to both the thugs and the jury.

Interesting use of words again - "eradicate": sounds almost hysterical.
