Quote Of The Month

Mark Wadsworth on an inconvenient fact:
"The finds actually remind us that there was a Roman Warm Period and a MediƦval Warm Period (referred to here as 'the Viking era'), when the pass was relatively ice-free and in regular use. They didn't magically drop stuff under the ice, they dropped stuff and the ice then formed and covered it. Which is why the oldest finds are from the RWP and most are from the MWP."

It is an inconvenient but indesputable fact that we have had warm periods before and indeed in recorded history. Sadly that doesn't justify raising taxes or support the numerous careers built on climate change so the facts are airbrushed out. Frightened people are easier to control and the bigger the lie the more people will believe it, nothing changes.

I think more people are realising this now, as a result of Wuhan Flu.
