A Jamaican drug dealer whose deportation was halted by a last-minute appeal was freed from custody by a judge last night.
The criminal, who can be identified only as 'RS', was due to be on board a Home Office charter flight on December 2. But he and 22 other Jamaican criminals who were also due to be kicked out of the UK submitted legal challenges which delayed their removal, to the fury of Home Secretary Priti Patel.
Now lawyers for RS – who was jailed for seven and a half years for dealing Class A drugs – have successfully argued that he should be freed from immigration detention while the Home Office prepares another flight.
Perhaps I should have said when he disappears..?
Judge Corner was told by Home Office lawyers that the next flight to Jamaica could take place in March. But the judge said there was no 'actual evidence' to back this up.
There's no actual evidence that you deserve to be a judge either, is there? Yet here we are...

Don't be silly Julia judges are from the upper classes and wealth protects them from most criminals and the law only really applies to the peasants anyway. You will be asking for justice to apply to all classes next even though we all know that some animals are more equal than others and the pigs will aways be the ruling class no matter what they do.
It's common place for these appeals to be made 'at the last minute' because the parasitical shysters, either working on legal aid or funded by SJW followers, know that it can take months for these appeals to be heard. As in this case, the crime was eventually released on bail while his case was heard. What sort of surety, if any, was demanded by the court? What did the CPS do to try and prevent his bail? As he was facing deportation, it's a raving certainty that he would disappear into the Jamaican community. New name, slight modification to his appearance, unknown address. This has been going on for years, certainly in my time, and I've been retired over ten years. Either the CPS is incompetent or the judge should be subject to a review, but then, trying to get a lawyer to prosecute or criticise another lawyer is like striking a match on a jelly and expecting it to ignite.

Indeed!
" What sort of surety, if any, was demanded by the court? What did the CPS do to try and prevent his bail?"
Nothing. Why should they? It's not like there are any consequence for being crap at your job...
