And you really have to wonder how the pitch for this one went, don't you? "OK, it's about ancient Greek myths coming to life and meddling in the lives of mortals. And we've got roller-skating Olivia and...wait for this, it'll blow your mind...Gene Kelly! Great, eh?"

Mrs. S and myself were just talking about this the other day. We also got onto a cheesy song from the 1960s by Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick and Titch. Using a bullwhip as a musical instrument was a first.
And who can recall a song (the only one as far as I know), where the word 'eiderdown' comes in?
I think the prize should go to Gordon Sumner. sometimes called Sting :
It's no use, he sees her
He starts to shake and cough
Just like the old man in
That book by Nabokov
Scrobs, there are a lot: https://www.lyrics.com/lyrics/eiderdown
"Eiderdown" by Sheila Nicholls?
Penseivat
Love the soundtrack. The movie is thoroughly cheesy, but like junk food, begs to be re-consumed.
