I have not bought any of the Fire product tablets in spite of needing new ones because I am told their low price is a result of them being infested with adverts for Amazon. I have also been told that you can be charged quite a high fee if you want to stop those adverts all the time. As to spell checkers couldn't you get a third party one to work on these?
"Perhaps that mite lead to the employment of more poof readers."
😂

I've got several. The adverts don't bother me, they are easily ignored, unless they show something I actually do want.

They do have their own, it's a bit clunky, though. Since I mostly use them for reading books of viewing TV/movies, it's not much of an issue. The build is good.
