Was This Inevitable..?

I think it was. And I think we'll see more of it, too...

Clare Moseley, founder of refugee charity Care 4 Calais, said... 'I'm trying to get in touch with some of the poor men in that hotel, I can only imagine how frightened they are.
'It was like a war zone.'
Shouldn't they be used to that, Clare?
Knowsley MP Sir George Howarth said some at the demonstration outside the Suites Hotel in Knowsley were protesting against refugees. He said it was triggered by an 'alleged incident posted on social media' and criticised misinformation about refugees being 'feather-bedded' at the hotel.

Ah, have they only been given synthetic bedding, then?

'The people of Knowsley are not bigots and are welcoming to people escaping from some of the most dangerous places in the world in search of a place of safety. '

Who knew Calais was such a hellhole?

Yes, the 'poor men' in the hotel, but not any women or children - they can stay in 'some of the most dangerous places in the world'. That's how dangerous these places are!

Now that the young men are away from home, the wives will be much safer from beatings, rape and honour killings.

Being housed in Liverpool might make those vermin wish they were living back in the hell-holes they came from. It might work.

Why are they being housed in hotels at the tax payers expense, but the biggest question is why are they even in the UK when the rules say they should stop in the first safe country they reach.

Maybe the dumb idiot that is complaining should put some of them up in her house and we would then see some sense breaking out.

The best answer is to send them back to the countries they came from after all they are only in the UK for the free money handed to them.

Maybe that dumb idiot should go to Liverpool to also remind everyone there that the UK has ALWAYS welcomed bona-fide refugees such as the Ugandan Asians and British passport holders from Hong Kong.
She could continue that these poor, wretched asylum seekers are all single men who have not left their families behind, etc, etc, etc. They cannot remember where they came from nor what sort of danger forced them to leave their lovely homelands. BTW some nasty people stole their passports.

Coming to a town near you, if it hasn't already. A local hotel near where I live, The Sharnbrtook Hotel, had recently been purchased to house the 'refugees'. The owner of the hotel was lead to believe it was going to be a care home for the elderly. The local council have expressed concerns but of course that counts for nothing. Meanwhile the flood across the channel continues unabated. Useless governments have singularly failed in that most basic of tasks, that of securing our borders.

Well, quite!

"Being housed in Liverpool might make those vermin wish they were living back in the hell-holes they came from. It might work."

😂🤣

Another thing that'll never happen...

"Coming to a town near you, if it hasn't already."

As I live in a Labour-worshipping borough, I'm amazed it hasn't!
