Them's The...Errr... Brakes, I Guess...

So (as per normal) 'mum' screws up and searches for something/anything to blame instead of accepting 'she' is at fault.

However, as someone who both loathes shopping, and who has a talent for unerringly selecting the trolley with, not one, two, but three wonky wheels, I too want some 'breaks' on my trolley (coffee and a cream-cake, in an arm-chair for preference).

It is fairly easy to test your trolley for wonkyness before heading into the shop with it. You do sometimes get one that only becomes wonky once it gets some weight in it though. I can't see how fitting brakes to them would make them more controllable.

How would that even work?

Well, indeed!

"It is fairly easy to test your trolley for wonkyness before heading into the shop with it."

Indeed, and I always swap it if it seems dodgy.

About as well as Lidl's 'anti theft' device that locks the wheels if you stray outside a narrow area. Which is easy to do if you have to negotiate a badly parked car near the entrance as I know to my cost!
