I Think It's You Who 'Doesn't Understand The Implication Of Your Actions'...

Sergeant Paul Mawson, from Consett Police, said ... “My officers and I have been working over the weekend and have engaged with people as best we can across Consett and the surrounding villages, to ensure that their journeys are necessary and that government guidelines are being followed.
“While I commend the large majority of the community for acting in a responsible manner that may save lives by slowing the rate of infections, there have been people who even when challenged, do not understand the impact of their actions.
“This is both time consuming for your local police and more importantly contributing to the burden on the NHS by not taken positive action to prevent the spread of infection.”
There follows the usual whinge about 'irresponsibility' and the breezy dismissal of people's liberty, but then, there's this:
One man thought a journey to the shop for a cauliflower was essential because he ‘always has a cauliflower with Sunday dinner’...
Hmmmm, let's have a look at those guidelines, shall we?

Is a cauliflower not food? Do you need to do some more reading, Sgt?

Give a muppet a uniform and it'll still be a muppet.

What about those folk sitting far from the madding crowd on the beach in Brighton? I thought that sunlight on the skin helped, via Vitamin D production, against colds and flu.

And can you catch Wuhan Flu while driving somewhere in your car?

What a bunch of tossers.

In my view, they deserve the clap (and not the handclap).

Well, if the cop (plod) doesn't LIKE cauliflower, then it isn't a food. Plus I'm betting this was a white Male, middle aged, with a job of some type. Not likely to challenge authority.

The local scum has been conspicuous by their absence. This might change when the cider and dope run out, and I imagine things could get lively. The police deserve everything coming their way. And if any tattle-tale busybodies get their windows put in, let's just say I don't anticipate my handkerchief becoming overly moist.

A strong case for putting Consett plod on strong leads and letting 'there' dogs make the decisions.

Can we all stop talking about “Government guidelines”, “Advice” and other such imprecise terms. This is a matter of law.

The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020 to be precise. There are similar, but not identical Regulations fro Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This officer, like most, shows ignorance of the law he is paid to enforce. It is not his place to implement the wishes of various Government ministers and spokespersons.

to The Jannie. This current emergency has shown the average person that many of our police forces contain an awful lot of arrogant and bullying muppets who have failed to police us either equitably or with common sense. This is something that many of us knew already but had not been exposed to the average 'normie' or as it is legally termed 'the man on the Clapham Omnibus'

In another article in the Mail, the plodscum seen bullying, taunting and handcuffing a man for deliverying food to his mother, is typical of the daily tyranny we suffer as vulnerable, unarmed citizens. Yes, Jaded, Greater Manchester police have immediately apologised for this criminal in uniform..left with the hopeless alternatives of denying the incident took place, or that it was somehow justifiable.

Not before time, every goddam move attempted by plod will be recorded by some decent citizen, purely as a routine precaution required of a good Samaritan. Stay alert to plod - save lives.

Happy Easter, Julia.

Can you just imagine what might have happened had previous calls been heeded, and some of these Unterscharführers were routinely kitted out with .357 or 9mm equipment?

Until it's dumb enough to get caught threatening to make something up to justify an arrest...

"In my view, they deserve the clap (and not the handclap)."

Heh!

"The police deserve everything coming their way. And if any tattle-tale busybodies get their windows put in, let's just say I don't anticipate my handkerchief becoming overly moist."

Yes, I'm afraid mine will remain undampened too...

"This is something that many of us knew already but had not been exposed to the average 'normie' or as it is legally termed 'the man on the Clapham Omnibus'"

More and more people are waking up to it. And in every filmed incident, it's noticeable that the cops involved are all of a certain type...
