Just Why Do They Call It A 'Justice System' anyway?

Police say a 40-year-old man from the Bristol area was arrested on suspicion of murder and released on conditional bail.
How on earth can you be bailed when you've apparently flagged down a complete stranger in a remote country area and beaten him to death?

Yet another Frankfurter on the bench.

Bail for murder is not rare. We have 24 hours to charge and the suspect can't be remanded unless charged with an offence.
24 hours in police custody on channel four is probably the best police reality show on the tv. It explains how are hands are often tied in dealing with criminals.
