Too Little, And Far Too Late...

The Health Secretary has written to the heads of NHS quangos to demand that they review their membership of Stonewall and ban diversity officers.
In a letter seen by The Mail on Sunday, Steve Barclay insisted that organisations including NHS England report on whether inclusion schemes were value for money.

The battle is lost already, because the time to act on dangerous parasites is before they burrow their way in, not after. As these other headlines will show...

And the media are also lost:

Imagine dreaming of becoming a journalist, visions of Woodward and Bernstein, and the lure of a Pullitzer going through your head, and then being instructed to write that...

It appears, from the DM item, that Barclay has not instructed the NHS quangos to drop Stonewall or get rid of diversity gauleiters, he's instructed them to report on their present set-up. I'm not sure if he's even empowered to actually issue instructions rather than "advice". Of course, this is all mediated through the Blob detachment at the Department of Health to their fellow-Blobbers in the NHS bureaucracy. Don't expect any changes this year (or probably next year . . . . or ever?).

Not quite sure that I agree with you that, with the trans issue at least, the battle is lost. There's a lot of pushback against this ideology and it's coming from a lot of places. Mostly it's coming from women who might once have accepted the idea that a post operative transwoman should be treated as a woman in things like toilets etc, but who now see that with the expansion of the concept of 'trans' outside of a miniscule number of genuine transsexuals, the cult of trans is a licence for predators and perverts.

There are also a number of well supported crowd funded cases against those organisations that have silenced male and female objectors to the cult of trans and its influence in said organisations. The Forstater and Bell cases have enabled the wider population to take a much closer and much needed look at the cult of trans, its influence and its effects on things like women's rights and freedom of speech.

The cult like Tavistock Gender clinic has been shut down and in future it looks like there will be much more scrutiny of the activities of gender doctors by other non aligned medics.

The Standing For Women, Let Women Speak and the LGB Alliance have gone from strength to strength in recent years and their message is being heard not just by the populace but, belatedly I admit, by government. The violence being committed by trans activists against women who want to protect female only spaces is in my view an indicator that they understand that they are losing the argument. The word and accusation of 'transphobe' and 'transphobia' used to have real power in shutting people up and shutting down arguments against the cult of trans but no longer can it do this. It's an empty word now devoid of power and it is because of t his that the trans activists are resorting to violence.

I completely agree with you that the government and other state funded entities should never have allowed themselves to be influenced by the cult of trans and I concur that it will take a generation and a long fight to get this crap out of our public sector. The government is not leading on this issue of the danger that comes from the cult of trans, they are following public opinion. They understand that trans positivity is a vote loser among the general public and are shifting their positions accordingly.

I agree that the Left have done immense damage to the nation and to Britain's public services with their obesssions but the fight is not over at least where trans is concerned, on the contrary the troons are losing as people start to realise what this cult really wants to do.

The battle against the 'troon-acy' of the cult of trans is not going the way that the trans activists might like and they are losing because of solid campaigning by those who are using facts and logic against them. It's been a long battle and its not over yet but the noises made by those in government (who should have known better than to capitulate to the troon loons in the first place) does at least given an indiciation of which way the wind is blowing.

There will be triumphs and setbacks in this war against the loony troons but that's the way of any long term war.

Interesting that you have it set so that we can’t copy text to quote in comments … it’s all as an image. Oh well.

Every NHS quango will now have to set up and staff a Superfluous Post Reduction Working Group in order to investigate ways and means of achieving this desired outcome.
This will probably involve fact finding missions to other First World nations in order to see how they deal with this problem.

What are you talking about James? I have no trouble copying anything Julia posts, maybe it is your setup or the browser you are using.

You're right, it's too late. Anything the Health Sec tells them will be met with a resounding 'No', followed by an 'Oh' (Just not in those words)

Yes, I saw that. And Sajid Javid squeeking about it from the sidelines, when he notably did nothing during his stint in the Big Chair...

Yes, and the pushback they are getting makes the policing of Suffragettes look like a walk in the park. Do they have the fortitude of our ancestors to see it through?

I'd like to think so, but I'm not that hopeful.

Heh! Who says blogs aren't educational?

Og, sorry, they are images! You're welcome to the images if you want them.

I suspect you're right!

I suspect you're right as well...🙄
