Are Your Days Finally Numbered, Andover Scaffolding?

At a business breakfast meeting on Wednesday, March 18, Test Valley Borough Council conservation officers stated that the long-running scaffolding on the Ladbrokes building, run by Entain, is expected to come down in the spring this year.
Regular readers may remember this story.Though may not, it was rather long ago.
Blue Cross, at 60 High Street in Andover, has refurbished its shop front after receiving a grant of around £5,000 from the Andover Town Centre Frontage Grant scheme. The funding supported repairs and repainting of the exterior, alongside an internal refit to create a brighter and more welcoming space.
Cllr Phil North, leader of Test Valley Borough Council, said: "It’s great to see Blue Cross investing in their High Street shop and continuing to play an important part in the town centre."

They didn't though, did they. You did, with ratepayers money.

"The frontage grant scheme is designed to support improvements like this as we deliver our wider regeneration plans for Andover."

Are all local councils stuffed full of incompetent liars or does it just seem like it?
