(Actually, I’ve had this one rattling around intermittently for a while thanks to a recent sojourn in France; ‘The Best of Boney M’ seems to be their default background music for shops and even my local open-air market.)
As has been mentioned over at Samizdata, the green movement has largely been funded by Russia. Makes sense really, make them Brits ban the drilling of their own gas and then sell them yours. Stonyground.
