A bus worker said: “The driver sent out a message saying there was a person injured and that they feared for the safety of themselves and other passengers. They weren’t injured themselves but that help was needed. Armed police came as well as British Transport Police with dogs. It was a scene of carnage.”

Officers attended and found a 34-year-old man suffering from stab injuries.

All part and parcel, eh, Mayor Khan? But wait, there's more! 

The bus is a specially commissioned double decker which has the ‘Spirit of London’ written on it in memory of the passengers killed on a bus in the 7/7 terror attacks.

Local resident Anton Marshall, 52, said: “It’s a sad irony I’m afraid.”

Hachem, 19, who was fatally shot from a passing car as she bought groceries near her home in Blackburn on 17 May 2020, was not the intended victim. The bullet was intended for the owner of Quickshine Tyres, Pachah Khan, but the shot missed, hitting the student.

The killing was the result of a feud between two businesses, where resentment escalated into violence. Feroz Suleman, the owner of RI Tyres, and his friend Ayaz Hussain recruited Zamir Raja to assassinate Khan, owner of the rival car wash business Quickshine Tyres.

They've all now got life. Not that that really means life. And there's one final twist: 

The 19-year-old who dreamed of becoming a solicitor had fled from violence in her native Lebanon as a child to settle with her family in Blackburn, Lancashire.

Turned out she may have been safer in Lebanon. Because progressives feel that this country needs to be more like Lebanon...

Figures from across the political divide united in criticism, with Tory MPs among those who condemned the Met’s approach as “appalling”. Ed Davey, the Liberal Democrat leader, called on Dick to resign. “This was a complete, abject, tactical and moral failure on the part of the police,” he said in a letter to the commissioner. “We therefore call on you to consider your leadership of the service.”

It would be the greatest of ironies if, despite her ability to cling to her job over the killing of Jean Charles De Menezes and the appalling investigation into so-called 'paedophiles in high places' on the say-so of a proven fantasist, the police actually doing their job was what brought her down...

Caroline Nokes, the Tory chair of the women and equalities committee, said she was “truly shocked at the scenes from Clapham Common – in this country we police by consent, not by trampling the tributes and dragging women to the ground”.

Look love, the concerpt of 'consent' has long since departed - where were you when the cops were hassling women for taking walks in the park during lockdown?
