They Don't Take Such Provocation Lying Down In France, Unlike In Batley

A father has been jailed after telling his son's teacher he would behead her 'if she was a man' in a case that has shocked France. Abdelkader B., 47, was sentenced after a fast-track hearing on Thursday, six days after the threatening incident in Le Fauga, a village with a population of about 2,600 just outside Toulouse.

And unlike here, the other teachers got behind the victim: 

In Le Fauga, the teacher's co-workers refused to go into the school due to the incident on September 4. The teacher has been granted official protection and is now on sick leave.

The Muslim tried to lie his way out of it, but wasn’t successful: 

However, his testimony did not match the victim's or the witnesses', who said the first beheading threat was launched in the car park. He then followed the teacher after she went into the school and was heard saying, 'Don't be surprised if tomorrow [my son] comes with a knife and stabs you,' by another teacher.

In light of France's history, Ms Momasso Momasso, who is also a lawyer for the Toulouse education authority, said the remarks are 'no longer tolerable in France in 2026'.

So when were they tolerable in France?

Abdelkader B. apologised and said he 'was really not proud' of himself', insisting he was 'not a violent person'. He has been sentenced to six months behind bars. He has also been ordered to take a citizenship course and has been banned from going near the victim or contacting the school for three years.

Why expect citizenship from such a creature, he should be deported with all his family, surely?

It is believed that the boy and his younger sister will be moved to a school outside of Le Fauga.

In a Muslim country, preferably! 

Working Together For A Safer London?

That's the motto of the Metropolitan Police. How exactly do they go about it? Well...

A Sudanese lorry migrant who stabbed a stranger to death while on police bail over a rampage just 48 hours earlier was jailed for 27 years. Rasheed Rahman, 21, murdered grandfather Mark Carroll, 55, on April 10, 2024 in a park in Camden, north London. Just two days earlier Rahman went berserk on a canal tow-path, punching and kicking members of the public but was bailed by the police.

In February two months before those two attacks, he broke Iulian Cavaliuc's arm with a wooden club and knifed him in the back on a double decker bus in east London. Mr Cavaliuc reported the attack to police later that day but Rahman remained at large while police officers tried to obtain CCTV footage and find him.

Did they try very hard? 

Despite Rahman's violence, staff at the supported accommodation unit where he lived in Chadwell Heath, east London, handed him a blade a day before the murder. It was this 5in knife he plunged into Mr Carroll in a frenzied outburst.

Not quite as bad as it sounds, he told them he wanted it to cook with. 

Judge John Dodd, KC, at Wood Green Crown Court jailed Rahman for life with a minimum of 27 years, and told him he would be deported.

Why not deport him now, to serve his sentence in Sudan? 

Rahman made a successful asylum application in March 2023 and was granted temporary leave to remain in the UK.

And of course, he was supplied with a lawyer free of charge to plead for clemency. 

John Femi-Ola KC, defending, said Rahman was born in Sudan and saw his sister murdered when the Islamic militant group Boko Haram invaded his village.

Shame. That they didn’t get him as well. 

Mr Femi-Ola said he fled to Chad and then Libya and then came to the UK in the back of a lorry. He was found to be living undocumented in Essex in 2021 and was granted temporary leave to remain.

Of course he was…

A search is under way to find a group of migrants after a man in his 20s was stabbed to death on a French beach. 

French police launched an investigation after a body was found on Terminus Beach, in the popular seaside resort of Berck-sur-Mer (Ed: popular with whom? Surely not French tourists!) on Thursday. 

It is feared that the suspected murderers fled across the Channel to the UK by small boat soon after.

And indeed, they have good reason to suspect this: 

That same day, at 6am, a small boat set sail from the same beach carrying 165 migrants. The vessel was later escorted into Dover for its occupants to be processed.

It's ok, I'm sure Border Farce and Immigration have vetted them all carefully, eh? 

I Can Think Of A Better Term, 'Mail'...

...like 'reckless little thug'.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, hurled the 15kg blue chair 50 feet downwards towards punters at the busy mall in Stratford, east London, in March. He and his friend, then 14, were arrested when a video of the incident bearing the caption 'No way bro almost killed someone' went viral on social media.

The 16-year-old boy claimed that he and his friend regularly threw objects off bridges and trains as 'pranks'. He later admitted recklessly causing a public nuisance and criminal damage. Wearing a black Nike t-shirt, the 16-year-old boy appeared in the dock at Stratford Youth Court today accompanied by a Somali interpreter.

Presumably he knows enough English to make videos on social media, so why should the taxpayer fork out for an interpreter? 

Mark Tooley, representing the 16-year-old, said he had been 'showing off' 

'Perhaps he may well have sought to make friends in the wrong kind of way - it was called showing off when I was a kid.

I doubt this was the sort of thing kids routinely did when you were a kid.  No-one had social media then. Nor Somali immigrants.

'It still applies here doing something criminally stupid and reckless, but happily causing no harm 

'He is an immature young man yet to come anywhere close to full maturity and understanding - rehabilitation is the key.'

I can think of a more appropriate word beginning with ‘R’ - repatriation! 

District Judge Shanta Deonarine said the two offences were 'so serious that no other sentence is appropriate other than a custodial sentence'.

For a paltry 8 months, in a youth offender centre holiday camp? 

The judge said the offending was mitigated by the fact he was 'intellectually a low functioning individual with impaired intellectual ability'.

The description ‘Somali’ covered that, and why is it mitigation? 

His 15-year-old friend denies both charges and will stand trial on December 2.

Wasting yet more taxpayer money. This one hits hard, because I have the misfortune to walk through this mall every office day.
