Wessex Water has developed a new way to help customers understand what they shouldn’t flush down the toilet.*boggle*
Many customers have already downloaded the free app where players must intercept different objects which are thrown at the toilet and instead dispose of them in a bin.It seems the culprits are 'disposable items', as coyly referred to by the head of sewerage services, the unfortunately named Paul Oaten (who must have really felt dropped in it when Lib Dem Mark Oaten was in all the right papers for all the wrong reasons...).
The game includes 15 levels and different versions have been created for both adults and children.
So it seems these people are smart enough to own, operate and interact with a mobile phone but not smart enough to understand that you shouldn't flush sanitary towels and nappies down the loo..?
