You have made Senora O'Blene's day, and she won't stop giggling...

I suppose that bodes well for the rest of the day, but it is a bit hot for all that!

Excellent.

I really miss the wonderful shaggy dog stories of the late Frank Muir with their ingenious puns, and even some written by headline writers at The Sun - their best, IMHO, being in 1966 when the driver Pedro Diniz suffered a conflagration. At the Argentine Grand Prix, his car burst into flames after a pit-stop due to its fuel valve sticking open; The Sun famously printed the photo alongside the headline "Diniz in the Oven".

Best headline ever in my opinion was also in the Sun many years ago when the mighty Celtic were beaten by non-league Inverness Caledonian Thistle (known as Cally) in the Scottish FA Cup.
"Super Cally go ballistic, Celtic were atrocious"
Jaded.

Another from the Sun; Eric Gates sent off for Ipswich, who went on to score five goals. Five Bar Gates.

See what you've started here Julia.
